  • Mukesh has a majestic voice and whenever a song fell in his grasp he will leave all singers far behind. This is one of such song and is one of my favourites. But there are other songs where is so flat that I start feeling tha instead of singing he is talking. We have yet to discover Latas peer among men.Among whatever we have thus far Tilat is the best.He has a unique vibrating sonorous singing unmatched so far. He can not scale the height of Rafi at treble and prfundity of Mukesh at bass but best

  • what a great song to hear again, after some time...one of my favorites of all times..thanks for posting..

  • this particular song of Mukesh is magical and does some tricks in me..there is also a gujarati song he sang after a while which has similar tune...bravo

thanks for posting again if I have not before..

  • My favourite song - thanks for the upload.

  • One of my favorite Mukesh song, thanks

    MOVIE: AARAM

    YEAR: 1951

    MUSIC: ANIL BISWAS

    SINGER: MUKESH

    LYRICS: RAJINDER KRISHAN

ACTORS: DEVANAND, PREMNATH, MADHUBALA, MANMOHAN KRISHNA

  • bhai waah !

  • Outstanding!! This seems to be an early exploitation of the classical Raag 'Hameer' on which countless songs have been composed by several music directors down the decades.I can offhand recall at least 8 to 10. Anyone interested can contact me. Believe me, 'raag-spotting' is an immensely pleasurable sport!

  • Can anyone please give the name of this movie ?

  • it's AARAM

  • Mukesh is so lyrical, so melodious, very difficult to describe the quality of his voice, words simply fail.

thank you for uploading this song.

  • Throbbing with depth and sadness, no one else could have sung this song but Mukesh Sahib.

  • so nice to see this song on UTUBE. Thanks for posting. It is one of the loveliest songs of Mukesh. Premnath is excellent too. Name of the movie..can someone tell me?

  • IT'S AARAM

  • absolute gem from Mukesh

  • I am highly obliged to all those who preserve and upload such beautiful videos. Can any one upload video song of Baadban film 'Har Roj Kaha Har Roj Suna' music by Asit Baran - Geeta Roy

  • The way Mukesh opens the first line of this song is beyond words. I have heard it a hundred times and still cant get enough. There is something about Mukesh that is so inimitable.

  • Does anyone has "Saranga teri yaad mein" by Mukesh? Please upload it.

  • The little search box above is your friend Sir Just enter "Saranga teri yaad mein" and as if by magic, the video you wished for will appear ;)

  • I will trade one Mukesh for all the bloody singers of today put together. Yes, there were Rafis, Kishores, Talats who were all magnificient in their own right but no other voice has the sadness and pain dripping through the chords like Mukesh's does.

  • You are 100 % right

  • You took the words out of my mouth. What a voice. Thanks for a nice song.

    Harish

  • Mukesh's unparalleled voice expresses sorrow and pain in such a heavenly manner, that makes one willing to trade all the happiness, love and all good feelings in the world for suffering. It doesnt get better than this.

  • @aptkp --- Good choice of your words Babuji...Yes, probably I agree. But nature made its ways so time is to move on..like it or not..respect your opinion..i'd probably say same....

  • One of my beloved Mukesh songs . Two others among many that are right next to this one are Tere Shabab Se Barh Kar and Choti Si Yeh Zindgani Re. Many thanks, kitaabik, for uploading this amrit-like melody. I must compliment you once again for your exquisite choices from numerous classics.

  • Thanks for sharing this beatiful Mukesh song and above all the Jan e jigar is none other than Madhubala.

    Thanks

  • Man, I have been searching for this damn song for years !

  • Very tuneful . Great score by Anil Biswas and Mukesh has sung well. The piano at the beginning is very melodious. The song is picturized on Prem nath and not dev.

  • Thanks for posting!

Will look forward to other songs from this movie, an Anil Biswas classic.

  • nahak gila hai humse
