Anyway, you find the "normal version" in Chapter 3 right when you enter the museum. They don't actually become the BotA until way later in either Chapter 13 or 14 (I forget exactly).

Interestingly enough, you can actually bypass the standard twin swords completely since you get the BotA in the story. But like I said, you get them super late in the game.

Ive tried that b4 because i did hear of doing that but when I do he just blocks instead of doing the combos i want him to and when i let go they all fly to me and I cant use my UT when I want to =[

Do a dash, but keep the block button held. You can cancel the end animations of the dash with with a jump and then from there do so attacks.

It's still pretty strict, but should give you that extra bit of breathing room you need.

Assuming I translated this properly, getting the Dragon Sword up to "level 4" is story related. Just make it to Chapter 10 and there it is.

They increase your kill points. Where with 0 skulls I think you get maybe 500 points per kill for basic Black Spider Ninja, finding all 30 nets you 800 points per kill with those guys.

You can only use them after a Successive Replay. If you do a New Game+, then all your weapons and whatnot get bumped back down to level 1.

Ok, just beat the game on Warrior. I go back to start a new game on warrior to use the Blade of the Archfiend/True Dragon Sword and they aren't there. Just the old dual katanas

Because you *started a new game*. You need to reload a previous save if you wanna keep your weapons intact.

How does this sword combo compare to Tiger's Claw/Dragon's Fang? I noticed Izuna drop is different.

Technically, it's the same thing. They're wielded just like the other twin swords, but they're super powerful. Really, other than aesthetics and some extra moves here and there, the two are exactly the same.

And it still has the Izuna Drop. That's the Underworld Drop your thinking of.

The Blade of the Archfiend is an *upgraded* version of the twin swords, the "Level 4" version of the weapons as the game prefers to think of it.

You'll be fine. Just follow the same rules for every other weapon run. :)

Whoops, forgot about that skull question. Anyway, collecting all the skulls maximizes your kill points. That's how those people on the leaderboards (*not* the ones with a score over 60 million... bastards...) get those ridiculously high scores.

That and slaughtering everything they come across... and even *don't* come across.

Oh man... all I can say is that you need miles and miles of patience; the game doesn't start to get "cheap" until you hit PotMN. Keep your head up, don't get too discouraged, and play like you know how.

To answer your other question, I don't listen to him, so I can't really say.

Since I don't know exactly what you mean, I'll break it down piece by piece by piece...

Zhong Kui Heavenly Sparrow (0:28)? No, as at level 1, you lack the ability to do "air combos"; they need to be at least Level 2 for that.

Underworld Drop (0:41)? Damn near out of the question; you can't do that move until they officially become Blade of the Archfiend.

No, you don't get the Blade of the Archfiend until chapter 14 after you defeat a revamped version of Genshin. It's a shame, because since it's a modified version of the Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang, it kicks all kinds of ass.

Ah, you must mean the Underworld Drop. It's an Izuna Drop alternate of sorts; it's a little dangerous to pull off because of the way the string is performed - the entire attack string is performed on ground with the last hit being the throw itself, *if* your opponent doesn't die in the process.

if you compleated the game once you can load it still so you keep all the weapons and stuff you got what if you got half way through after you finished and wanted to start again on that dificulty would you keep all the weapons after you started a new game?

If you're redoing the same difficulty, yes.

When you start a new game, then you get all your weapons, but at level 1. You'll have to work them back up.

If you load a finished game save, all your weapons and health are left intact; thing is, you can't do any related to the Leaderboards if you do that however.
