Great presentation. I remember over the summer when I took about 3 solid days of playing around with the iMovie app to learn it thoroughly, one of the biggest aids was when I discovered what the themes really were all about… …They're simply wipe edits (senseless [in this case, except for the News theme] designs that wipe across the screen when connecting differing scenes). Once I got past understanding that, everything else fell into place.

Thanks for this video Chris, I purchased iMovie for iPhone 4 as soon as it became available as I am sure you did, I was a little bit disappointed with the lack of features and options but then I smacked myself and said.. "It's a phone" and then I put things in perspective. It's actually very cool all things considered.

Why can't we have other things like free/open source software solutions, home music/recording option, wireless printing solutions, home medical technology, or such and lean away from the Apple stuff. I can understand the need for advertisement revenue, but it's a little out of hand. More things like questioning the future of the Internet and less Apple AppStore reviews. Multitasking api doesn't allow you to do processing in the background. Only such things like playing music and location services. The multitasking is basically pausing the app.

@SkinoReturns I've figured out a way. Believe it or not, when you sync your phone, it actually syncs the videos into your iPhoto library. Just import it onto your Mac this way, and then navigate the file and upload it. This way will allow you to have 720p.

Scrubbing is seeking through an audio or video file either forwards or backwards.

By adjusting the scrubbing rate, you can make more accurate movements (per second) or larger movements (per 10 seconds).

It's just a control feature.

It really looks great! I live in the Netherlands and just pre-ordered my iPhone 4 this morning (release here is July 30th) and I'm sure going to buy the iMovie app. Just for some fast and on-the-go editing and stuff like that. Only thing I would not like that much about this iMovie app is the split at playhead, which could be handy because of the "scrubbing interface".
