OK, I found out the name is Andon Kurage. Thats the Japanese name here in Japan. Andon means paper lantern and Kurage means jellyfish. It looks very much like a small box jellyfish thats why I thought they were juvenille box jellyfish. There were a lot of them in the water that day.

Your right, I just found out it was a different kind of jellyfish, but I don't remember the name in the book where I saw it. I'll find out and post the correct name.
