I played this game while working at fry's and was demoing the wireless guitar when it first came out. Funny thing is, customers thought the game was playing alone. I was nowhere near the tv let alone see it and was playing it. Best %'age I can get blindly is a 98%, last 2% comes from the ending, my timing is horrible there. Cool song even if it isn't the original.

Guitar has ruined so many good songs by replacing the singers and lyrics. If they just had the band play their song again... Good game though. But there are flaus.

They had to. Joey Ramone was dead before this game was made. And so was the lead singer of Queen. They couldn't get permisson to use thier voices.

doesnt excuse all the rest of the songs theyve ruined, dont get me wrong, guitar hero is fucking awesome, but beast and the harlot on guitar hero 2..... WTF, its like they didnt even try to make it sound like the real thing, the drums and the vocals on beast and the harlot (and most of the other songs on guitar hero 1 and 2) didnt even sound remotely similar

they probably just got the writer's permission. and some of the bands may have been to busy. they do what they can

obviously not, just look at what theyve done with guitar hero 4 and rock band (yes i know rock band is a different company, but thats not the point). almost all the songs are the orginal version, i find it hard to believe that for the first guitar hero that absolutely none of the bands would cooperate
