stock kelisa top speed

ur kelisa jsut change exhaust system can reach 175km? how i did change my extractor and the ending part. 13inch rim manual only reach 155km/h.

i've changed the suspension to firmer ones.

the car doesn't wobble so terribly at high speed like stock kelisa does.

yang ni pon time aku pakai rim standard. skarang rim 14" pon dah x leh dapat. 150/155 km/h jgk.

my kelisa 2004 clocked 150k km mileage, auto converted to kenari manual gearbox, changed the exhaust piping system, in 4th gear can reach 145kmh, 5th gear till 175kmh, as my friend uses wira followed me at back meter reaches 180kmh.. i dont know which is right.

i'm planning to change my exhaust system very soon though.

do you have any recommendations?

could you really feel the power difference?

btw im only gonna change the manifold/extractor. not the whole thing.

yes i do, my suggestion is change the whole set exhaust system with hotbits, fullset..can get it at speedworks.. u can feel the differences.. lower your car use dr spring sport spring can give you better performance also.. goodluck!

kelisa meter is more accurate...try use gps & see

It must have been the rims that slowed down the car.

in this video the car still had its stock 13" rims.

Now with 14", it can only do 150 km/h (on speedo not GPS)

i think that problem applies to all cars.

more speed, the mechanical parts have to endure more stresses.

but up to this point, my car is ok.

i dont know if gear box failure/damage is a common problem with kelisa or not.

is it true that if we drive auto up to high speed it will spoil the gear box? i drove my kelisa up to 140

i dont have an auto but so far for 6 years of hitting top speed (not really top if u notice.... gear 4 @ 3300~3500 hit 160) u can go more.

i've never had a prob with the gearbox.

as for auto i'm not sure how the progression line is but it is possible if that progression line isn't optimum or proper. easily fixed with a re-tune
