I'm happy with my congressman. My vote for or against him wouldn't make as much of an impact as me speaking out about impeachment here. That's why I'm saying impeaching Bush would be much more logical than having impeached Clinton because Bush's crimes are much more serious: Clinton for dishonesty over his private life, while Bush's dishonesty has much more far-reaching and serious consequences. It's too late to impeach Bush, but not too late to point out the double standard.

I agree with you, not that it's a distraction. Eliot Spitzer may have been wrong and hypocritical. However, I totally agree with you that it's a double standard and that the Bush administration gets away with injustices and Bush has gotten away with so many actions for which he should have been impeached. It's just that the Democratic congress doesn't have the gall to go ahead with an impeachment for actual impeachable offenses while a Republican congress went ahead with one that was absurd.
