Hello I am a soprano from Holland and I heared your songs. In october I am giving a concert with piano and violin and I realy want to perform your lovesongs. Thank you for charing this beautiful music. Cobi Bregman - Janssens
My choir did the five hebrew love songs and we enjoyed every minute of it .... We all couldnt wait to practice it over and over ...... its very beautiful
Seeing them together: the beautiful, unimaginably talented singer with the beautiful, angelically gifted composer makes me so incredibly happy and so jealous at the same time. If only all people could find such settled perfection in their lives...
@zirtavia i'm singing under his direction right now through DCINY and i cannot tell you how many times he's giggled. he's like the pillsbury dough boy.
@indiemuse81 The "Pillsbury dough boy" comment just made me laugh and smile like crazy for 15 minutes! How fortunate you are to be under his direction!

I must say that you, Eric, are truly an amazing arranger and these pieces are a testament to that. I would say though, that your transliteration from the original Hebrew appears to be designed for a high school choir and doesn't accurately reflect the true pronunciation of the language. Also this video could have been great, but Hila spoke way too fast and way too quiet. I know you won't redo anything just for me, but I just thought you might like to know. Apart from this though I am a huge fan.
I love the video! I look forward to conducting this fine work in Spring of 2010. I will definitely send my students to this site. All the best, Robert
Thank you soo much for the pronounciation for the words! These are such lovely songs and I'm sooo excited to sing with my choir this summer at Lincoln Center with you Eric!
This is so wonderful!! We are preparing to perform these soon and I am truly loving this work! Thank you both for this! For the record, Lux Arumque is the most amazing piece and has moved me greatly! Thank you for that gift.
Thanks for this, and for the lovely songs. Our chorus will be doing these later this month, and if I can get through the second one with dry eyes, it will be a miracle!!!
my high school chamber choir sang these songs last year for contest! they were wonderfully gorgeous, and my choir director, Nathan Rudolph, is a HUGE fan of yours, and he absolutely rubbed off on all of us. thank you for putting such passion into your work.
