thats one huge printer. i can see in 10 years people watching this commercial and laughing at how lame and obsolete it is, just like you laugh at first generation cellphones :)
nonetheless, its impressive, awesome how you can get coloured 3d models right away
i googled the meaning of spectical which seems to be an ADJECTIVE. and the result made me skeptical that there is a word, spectical. so he's SKEPTICAL.
Woah, 3D printers sure have moved forward in the last 5 years. I was to expect one in every home where you buy your plans on the internet and build your new items literally in-house, but thought it'd take a lot longer to get here.
In the second installment of Jurassic Park, they had a sci fi printer that did this kind of thing.. the one they used to create the raptor` s resonation chamber.. and back then it was sci fi... we`r in the future peeps!

I understand how this works and don't understand how it works all at the same time. Either way though it's highly impressive.

If I were a man, I would have an enormous boner for this thing. But as I am a woman, the most I can do is wet myself a little.

yeah, $40,000 plus necessary materials.
$625 for only 8kg of powder
$445 for the binder mixture cartridge

That still seems pretty cheap for what it can do.

Relatively...
My school is getting a 3D Printer next year. This one is only around $14,900, though still not "affordable" per-say.
