The scale of the game bothers me. I prefer the earlier Ultimas. When you travelled overland you would come to a village or town and the game would load you inside the town. In this version, you always run into places and need to consult the map or sextant.

Sometimes NPCs will get on the carpet just as your party gets on to fly away. I didn't realize that Nicodemus followed my party on the carpet one time until we were flying away, and saw him standing amongst us. I turned that carpet around and dropped him off back at his house. (BTW, I think there's maybe a remote chance that Batlin just might possibly be evil ...)

How do you know which weapon is better than the rest? I mean, I guess you could go with whatever name sounds cooler but how do you know for sure? Check your stats?

Somewhere there's a book that lists the relative strength of different weapons and armor. But until you find that book you just have to guess.

Just when everyone is seated (wherever they are) click 2 times again on the carpet and you will fly without the ones who seated outside.
