  • RIP Lamar

  • Your the one who is sad just because I made a comment that doesn't fit in to your preferred image of how Elvis really was is your problem ,you just hate the thought of Elvis been a simple minded idiot ,which he must have bee to surround him self with a load of leeches and trailer park trash.

  • @opencurtin Elvis was in a unique situation: He was a megastar, a unique artists adored as a God would be. The pressure involved, man, even Ringo commented on that aspect of fame: At least we had each other, the Beatles to cope with the pressure, Elvis was alone.

  • Mr. Fike with all respect....you lie. You know so much more than me, but come on lamar...your stories change all the time...lol

  • One thing people don't realize is that Elvis sufferred from insomnia, I do too. It sucks. For the last ten years I have been going through it. I don't take medication for it but can now feel its effects. Either way your body eventually gets worn out. I can go and do my 5 hour shifts then come home and get a 2 hr nap. E had exausting schedules, sometimes working 7 days a week, for a month at a time, no break, 2 shows a day. I think the world needs to give him a break!

  • u gotta like him cuz he wasnt the one that wrote the book "elvis what happen" he was loyal to elvis and southern like him cant blame him he missed elvis or else he wouldnt do this he could be hiding somewhere so pops to you lamar fike your a down to earth man with an extrodanary experience in your life alot of us wont have

  • @SuperGraceland He lies...lol

  • I think it shows you how simple minded Elvis was ,the fact he surrounded himself with such idiots ,none of these guys had one bit of class.

  • typical yankee stupidity. elvis and the memphis mafia were just a bunch of good ole southern boys and they were down to earth and didnt try and impress people or dress fancy or think they were special. all these guys are just good down to earth southerners. god bless them all.

  • @opencurtin Elvis was a very intelligent, complex man. He was also a nice guy who didn't have biases and gave people the time of day!

  • @opencurtin Wow wish I was simple minded.....YOU DUMB ASS!!!!!

  • @shibby1965 Shut up you red neck.

  • @opencurtin Get over it Lamar....want more stories? Really. Redneck, that is the best you can do? SIMPLY, REALLY? Just stop, you are sad :)

  • kimmypie88 Your statements rather familiar, but NO Elvis did NOT do it to himself. Elvis at the end of his life had become a MEDICAL addict who was being given 25 narcotic pills a day such as Dilaudid and Demerol. Once the survival mechanism of the brain is hijacked, the person has no choice. Elvis's doctor was brought up on charges for over prescribing to 14 people, and got off until he was caught doing it again in 95 and lost his license. Everybody knew he was dying, but did nothing.

  • dont forget lamar is a good guy e used to call him lard ass he took it all with good humour i know he loved E another thing all those drugs they took must have made them all a bit crazy ur forgiven lamar

  • correction, fat Fike took it all in stride or else he'd be back on the other side of E's life looking in.Wake up people and accept these leeches for what they were and are.Freeloaders, backstabbers and profiteers.

  • just a question but who kept elvis alive when he would be too out of it hey ? elvis needed and loved these ppl they didnt kill him he did that himself he was an adult ,and i love elvis its so sad but true dnt blame every1 else

  • It was great to see this blog with Lamar, I have just watched the full series of all The Kings Men, it was great and gave you an insight of what all went on and what it was like for all the guy,s, now i cant wait to read this new Book of Lamar,s.

Dose any one know if their is a email address or a web site to contact Lamar to ask for a copy of his new book Autographed ?

  • can't believe that elvis actually surrounded himself with some of these guys.. geesh.. i think elvis was bright but whoa at times...

  • that Idiot Simon isnt fit to even speak the name of ELVIS or have a guest like Lamar or ANY of the M.Mafia on their show. FU A.Idol!

  • Yes same person but Goldman got hold of all the guys when they were bitter and turned what was said around. I know one of the former Memphis Mafia and they all regret having anything to do with that book!

  • Is this the same guy who collaborated with Albert Goldman on the infamous biography 'ELVIS'?

  • More, marvelous, first-hand news and thoughts from Lamar Fike. To be able to hear this from this man is terrific and unique. I cannot wait to reda the book. Hey, here's a thought, why not make Lamar a judge on American Idol? He surely knows the business and worked with an true Idol? To see him dust it up with Simon? Great TV I think.

  • @elvisanytime Yeah you reda that book....lol
