It's the game - great fun but with N64 graphics. Many people don't realize it but this is the way games looked in 1998 (I keep thinking Mario 64). Still absolutely worth playing once you get through the slow and standard "here kid, here's how you throw a jar" instructional portion.
Mine does the same thing. I got my Wii with SS on New Yearz Eve, because the package deliver was delayed by snow. It even happens on my first Wii. I've even seen this happen on my friend's Wii. Its just a simple flaw created by Nintendo. Just like how I walk up to that door behind the lady in that same place, I didn't beat Skyview yet, so itz still closed. When I walked up to the crack, my game kept changing camera views. Then I randomly respawned outside of there.
I think it might actually be the game itself (unless my disc has some kind of unique fault on it). I tried it on my other Wii, looked at the same place in the game and it's still flickering. Even tried component, RGB and composite and they all show the same issue.
The softness is most likely because they tried to make the scenery look like a watercolor painting, and there's less detail in the distance.
@Tomsonic41 i have the same problem with my wii. i suspect it has something to do with the wii's GPU (graphical processing unit). i would call nintendo at 1-800-255-3700. i sent my wii in for repairs twice and even got a replacement wii, but this problem continues to happen anyway. does it happen in only that area or many many places that are between light and dark textures? im trying to figure out what the problem is myself. you're video is a good example.
the fuzzy distance I can assume has to do with the artstyle, if you look at things close up you'll notice that everything has a pastelly/painted style on it which shows more as things get further away as the wii can't handle many textures at once so they sort of fade into a different texture that is still recognizable yet doesn't strain the hardware. That's only a guess of course, but that's what I thought as I was playing it
i have no idea... i dont have this game but i think its like everyone elses.... cuz if it was the wii maybe ur other games wouldve had a problem and if it was just the game well i think the place looks normal i understand it looks soft/fuzzy but i just think they wanted a new look for the zelda games. :)

Its not really a problem, its not like it ruins the game or anything, and there isnt many dark areas like that corner within the game.

Mine's like that too. I think it's the crappy filter they used causing it.
