  • I've purchased two FURminators for friends with long-haired pets, and they both give it thumbs-up!

I'll probably be getting more, for others in the gang with pets, as the word continues to spread.

Y'all keep up the good work!

  • I don't like to do long strokes like that. I try to imitate the way he combs his hair and he just loves it.

  • It's definitely not brush - it doesn't say it is - but ANY item will hurt if you are raking your pet aggressively. My cat never liked me grooming his body but he LOVES The Furminator. He wants every part of him done. I actually have to hide it because if he sees it he wants it and it's not good to groom them too often.

  • Love the Furminator, it keeps my persian looking great and he doesn't shed like he use to because of the loose undercoat. He loves the Furminator, if it was pulling out his hair he would be hissing like crazy but he stays calm! If it cut all of his hair would be gone.....

  • can u get them in the uk?

    thanx

  • FURminator products are sold in Europe and the company keeps expanding more and more internationally. Also check online retailers. Please feel free to message me if you have trouble finding FURminator products in your area.

  • People give it rave reviews because they don't know how it works. Pick one up at your local pet store and see for yourself. You've obviously never held one in your hand or you'd know what I was talking about.

  • All I'm saying is that it's not a brush. I would suggest people check them out at your local pet store and see that it's a 'toothed' steel rake that pulls hair out.

  • All that thing does is pull/cut the hair out of the coat. It's not a brush, it's a dull serrated knife.

  • Just to clarify, the FURminator deShedding Tool does not have a blade and does not cut or damage the topcoat. The tool works by gently pulling out the loose undercoat. To learn more please visit the FURminator website.
