  • I really like this. I'm a fairly advanced synth programmer and I like using modular synths. Right now I'm in the process of switching from free vsti synthesizers to hardware and I'm really liking the capabilities of the Mfos Ultimate with the Expander. The only problem is is that I have no knowledge on wiring electronics and just don't have the time to learn. I'm only 16 and with that comes a very low income. What would be the cheapest way to get ahold of a MFOS Ultimate?

  • @PelhamMusic

Go to the ULTIMATE page on music from outer space (no spaces) DOT com and there are some builders listed.

  • @theraywilsonshow Thanks. I appreciate the help.

  • Wonderful, more please, I cant wait to build one

  • Thank you for the kind comment. I have a CD about to come out. I will post snippets on my web site and probably something here too.

  • I was listening to some of the Bach on your site with the ultimate, very impressive. I will probably start with a MFOS modular and build an ultimate at some point. You have made some incredible breakthroughs with open hardware.

  • Thanks. If you liked the Bach I think you will enjoy the Debussy that will be on the new CD. "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" will be on it and it was completely voiced with the ULTIMATE.

  • Sounds great, can't wait to hear it, you guys have significantly raised the bar in the DIY synth world, this open hardware stuff is a wonderful new thing

  • great piece, love it! :D

    more of this please :)

  • that's a real introspective soundtrack, great one!
