  • Can you make this video available for mobile users so it can be viewed on mt cell phone. Thanks

  • This video is not available on cell phone devices due to copyright or licensing issues.

  • ok i plan to get my hair done like this soon (sew in with lace frontal) but my hair is nothing like the lady's in the video. mi hair is longer and thicker. would my hair look bulgy if i braid it like hers? pllllz help me

  • Very complex but beautiful results. Great job.

  • Technical work was ok,I suggest you improve the base by doing a full basket base right around her head adding synthetic hair covering her head with no gaps and no force,(to prevent more damage she already has,sew the frontal first, then sew the weave, integrating the weave and the frontal,i will be doing a video response soon, thanks for trying your best though.

  • i guess i'm the first to say you look like clair huxtable back in the day

  • great job

  • lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ew it looked etter at the end

  • lmfaooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ew

  • love all you stuff great job keep it up in 2011

  • you did a good job on this!!! i love it.....

  • .!why yew talk likee that? And why yew block your clients faces?

  • will this take your edges off

  • @megan763075 Ole girl had NO edges right!!!!! Baaahaaa

  • This was very nice and neatly done. I haven't applied a frontal piece before. You really made it look simple. Thank you! Great job!

  • How long will this hair like that? .. and what happens to my hair after I strip out this other hair?

  • I am in Georgia (Augusta) where can I order a frontal @? u know we don't get things as quick as you all do in the city (lol) thanks so very nuch. Do you have a shop how may I contact you? my e-mail address is ladyinthelord@yahoo.com thanks and again od Bless you for all the Information you share with your sista's (smile)

  • If I got any lace frontal could I cut bands into it and still leave some hair out in the back? I want them to basicly look like the ones in this video.

  • Ok I have purchased Remi Indina hair, can I not just do the hair without a frontal or do I need a frontal? I don't plan to leave any hair out. What' sthe song playing? Thnak you.

  • Hi-- You do not need to use install a frontal for this technique. You will just sew on a full weave instead. Also, the song is Forever My Lady by Jodeci.

  • her edges ont look protected.

  • dam!!!! i need her to do my hair shit

  • You did a good job. This style looked very natural. What kind of hair was that? How did u get that part to look natural without any hair out?

  • Thank you! The hair is Indian Remy Yaki. Since her hair is very thin her scalp shows through the lace for a natural part.

  • lol

  • The braiding style she used was a bit much! It could've been done alot easier. Also, Ms Lola should've used her band-aid method to protect this woman's edges. As others have said, over time, this style will take your edges out. The same goes for lace wigs.

  • I think I want to try this method one day....can you just go to a regular black/AA hair salon and get this done?

  • A qualified stylist should be able to perform this technique. Always ask for references.

  • good job!

  • Why have bangs with a frontal??? That tape is taking out her hairline:( and the braids look so tight. Weaves are suppose to help you grow your healthy hair out, not damage it.

  • I agree.

  • @dhothoney I PURCHASED A FRONTAL AND I PLAN ON WEARING A BANG I DONT SEE ANYUTHING WRONG WITH THAT?, ITS NOT THE KIND SHE HAS IN THIS VIDEO (LOL) THIS LOOKS LIKE A WIG. BUT I AM GOING TO DO A SIDE BANG BECAUSE I HAVE A BIG FOREHEAD AND THE REASON IM GETTING A FRONTAL IS BECAUSE I NEED TO GIVE MY HAIR A BREAK FROM HEAT AN RELAXERS...I WEAR WEAVE WITH MY FRONT HAIRLINE OUT AN ITS DAMAGING TO PRESS&RELAX MY FRONT HAIRLINE TO MATCH IT WITH THE WEAVE THATS MY PURPOSE FOR THE FRONTAL.

  • Aymen, thats why I'm getting a weave, and I HAVE to have a bang because my forehead is huge ( Rhianna forehead) lol but thats my reasoning for getting a weave, I'm tired of doing my hair and my hair needs a break from the relaxers and heat ... I use heat everyday....

  • True.

  • mad nice after

  • excellent!

  • Great info thanks for sharing!!

  • Fantastic Viedo!!!! Money Maker!!!!

    Thank You!!!

  • that hairstyle looks so old on her

  • Wow! Thank you! I've been looking to do this and need to learn! xx

  • ok so who did da old lady hair style

  • lol, i know

  • OMG it's lots of works.. but love it.

  • Nice video, love the music though!!

  • What is a frontal ?

  • a lace unit that covers the front of your head, like the one shown on this video.

  • many thank you's for this video. it was VERY informational

  • u did that msz lola! u go girl! ive seen your work its amazing with the BEST tutorials i've seen thus far 5 stars! *****

  • Nice job love the video....

  • I like your tutorial better because you had better visuals and the added text.

  • Serious question... is this uncomfortable for the wearer. And how long does it last.

  • This application is very comfortable for the wearer. It lasts 6 to 8 weeks.

  • Her hair looks bad and unhealthy...maybe she shud give it a break...lay off the chemicals and weaves and wear wigs for a while....tho the weave is nice, if she does this often she clearly needs a change in her routine!

  • im sure she knows that if she looks in the mirror everyday but its hard to kick bad habits

  • She may have aleopecia, a type of hair condition in which the hair is badly damaged and there is slight to severe balding. Ms Lola specializes in weaving and lace wigs to cover it.

  • It looks nice but the tape will prevent her edges from growing back in.

  • Is there a way to sew the frontal on?? I assume there is a way to braid a front ridge to which it can be attached or something??

  • yes, you can sew the frontal onto a track that is braided in the front of your hair.

  • ya im white but i want to know how to braid to the scalp and can this or any weave be done on a white person and also i can twist lol

  • yes it can i had a client yesterday where i did her hair with sew ins

  • u can get a wig for that...!!!! duh its a good technique...but why do all dat...??? ur bettr of not putting all that stress on your hair..they got wigs like that with part..cuz i got one..but mine look much better. WOAH!

  • okay, uhm, do ppl go bald form this...

  • hey i like this but i dont knw how 2 braid and im black lol but can i twist da hair instead

  • I thought I was the only black person who cant braid. I can twist the hell out of some hair too. lol

  • i would like to purchase a frontal from you but i dont see the pricing on your website please send me info and do they come in remy wavy or indian i want wavy or slight curly not straight

  • Good job! But that style is kinda old school. To each their own though.

  • i agree the tips were great. and i liked the vid.. but i ddidnt really likethe style of the wig... loved the video though.. i cannot wait to get my front and tracks....

  • I like the idea of how the weave was put in, it was very neat and may last a while, but honestly the final style looked kinda mid 90's, it was pretty bad..

  • Looks very nice!

  • looks awesome

  • UGH!!

  • dem braids look nice!

  • omg are u in ATl?

  • ur so awesome

  • Hey question

    who would want that like

you can't wash your own hair,

or can you take off the weave or what

    idk i'm confused lol sorry!

  • who sings this song does anyone know ???????

  • Jodeci

  • sorry it looks so badd

  • Thats nice but I would opt for tree braids over anything else. The idea of putting any type of glue or adhesive on my natural hairline is frightening!

  • it goes on your skin and not your hair. and with this adhesive alcohol removes all traces of the glue. I have thinning edges (genetics), and the lace wig has actually helped my hairline more than any other weaving or braiding method done to my hair.

  • why don't I beweave you?

that glue and tape when u take it off

    your edges leave with it!

i've seen ttoo many case whdre it left them with traction alopecia or worse!

  • I can only say from my personal experience. My edges do not come off. you must think someone is using black glue. this glue comes off with alcohol or the orange oil spray. they both take the tackiness (stickiness) away from the tape aand it peels right off. If you see a person with bald edges, it's because they shave it, not pull it off. and these wigs do cause alopecia, that's something you get on your own.

  • you can get "traction alopecia" from your hair being pulled or to much stress on your edges!

now "alopecia" is an auto immune disease!

    thats most likely hereditary!

but tight pony tails and braids can cause"traction alopecia",,,

  • I meant to say do 'not' cause alopecia....these wigs do not pull the hair. the tape is on skin. some people put the glue on the edges, but most of it is on the skin. so how can it pull your edges?

  • look at naomi campbell hairline and esp kelley rowland ate up from the flo up . the stars cut all therir har they can afford. they money long like the miss river.full lace is not all dat.speaking from exp.

  • Awesome video!!!!

  • front lace wigs have been a tremendous blessing to women that have had hair loss and thining hair. its one of the best weave inventions for the twenty first century. i love them.

  • A well sewn weave should last 8 to 10 weeks.

  • its pretty

but she will lose all the front and side edges due to the glue!

  • It appears she's already thin around the edges.

  • The glue does not take your hair out. It's actually easier to get off than that black glue. All it takes is alcohol or this orange oil. It does not affect your hairline at all, even when applied wrong. I know..I wear lace wigs and have thinning edges, from genetics. My edges have actually grown in more since wearing lace weaves.

  • her hair look nice good job.

  • Actually it's not as bad as it looks this lady has thin hair so it looks really pulled. Next why must men always think that we do everything for them. Could it be that we want to look good to feel good about ourselves. I am natural and ware waves to change up my look. White women get perms and weaves for the same reason they want to change up their look. Have you always kept your hair cut exactly the same all your life? So why is a black woman a sell out for rocking a new look

  • SHUT UP!!! UGH! THEY LIKE IT

  • nobody cares about theirs or your opinion. if people want to change to natural hair that their business if they want a weave ok. thats why the black race is so jacked up bc we are worried about superficial shit like hair and fashion not about education, politics, and incarceration black men, babies born out of wedlock. thats what we need to focus on not hair.

  • Why the hell you even LOOKING at it then...? You don't know cause OBVIOUSLY you INTERESTED in it.. Other wise your ignorant comment wouldn't even b on here... Don't you think so? And not only would you hace the adasity to write about the video you had to bring race in it.. Us blacks? Lol Thats funny being that YOU WHITES Barely have it together.. Isn't that right BRITTNEY... Oh Spears... lmao!

  • what are you talking about? girl you all hype. im not white also i like that hairdo. you replied to the wrong person

Oh Spears... lmao!

  • good job!

  • Do you also suffer from androgenetic alopecia because your edges is shot!

  • I have traction alopecia. Forty million women in the US suffer from some type of hair loss, resulting from heredity, cancer, lupus, thyroid disorders, heart disease, neuro-trauma, or any number of other reasons. One doctor's visit can devastatingly change anyone's life. It happens every day. Believe me, it isn't funny.

    --Ms Lola

  • Her hair is peeling out the front, your braids are too tight.

  • This client suffers from androgenetic alopecia. Her hair will continue to bald even if it is never braided again.

    -- Ms Lola

  • So you might as well finish the job. haha - that's wrong.

  • LMAO at mariLUVSdance's comment!!!!! Ditto, ditto ditto. That's all I can say.

  • she scared me at the beginning and i thought this was some joke video.

  • that CANT be good for your hair.

  • damn! do mine!

  • what is a frontal

  • is the weave sewn on or glued on to the lace piece?

  • yea 100th comment

  • her braids are too tight. that's prob one of the reasons her hair is thin and her hair-line is almost gone. shame.

  • Actually, most lace wig wearers shave their hairlines...

  • Hi, I lost all of my hair due to illness and now I wear wigs everyday. Is there any type of weave that I can get without having the need to use any of my own hair?

  • Yes ma'am. You can wear a full lace wig. They have an invisible hair line. Many patients suffering from alopecia or that have gone through chemotherapy wear them. Google lace front wigs and you should be able to find them and possibly a sylist that knows how to attach it. Hope this helps =-)

  • Um not really but what you can do is buy a human hair wig so u cant flat iron curl do everything with it so the wig could look more real personally weaves are my special but i dont wear weave if you want your hair to grow back try Doo Gro its a hair growing product that helps hair

  • is the weave what ruined her edges or is the weave just hiding the damage

  • Where can you buy the lace without the hair already attached of can you?

  • For the front piece, is that just one track??And how did you get the hair to part to the side?

  • How did you wash your hair den? Wif the weave and the tape infront. How long does it last? Won't it itch?

  • cool but I don't like the hair style:(

  • The more tracks you add the more braids you must do. You can't have one tiny braid carrying to much weight. That is what causes hair thinning & breakage.

  • I have to agree. Years ago I let someone braid my hair. My hair is soft and thin. She applied long, heavy extensions to my hair doing box braods, and when I showered the braids fell off. When I checked them, my hair was in the braid. I had bald spots all around the front where the entire follicle had come out with the braid. I learned that lesson the hard way. It just made sense that the braid should match the weight and density of your own hair.

  • Does this cause hair loss (permanent) to the hairline? And how do you safely remove the hair/ adhesive so that it doesn't break hair or tear it from the scalp - leaving it looking thin?

The finished producti is beautiful-- but I'm afraid of hair loss.. which will create a vicious cycle of having to wear these types of weaves again.

  • hey ms lola .....i luv what u did with da frontal do u work in a salon if soo your location.....and i wanted to kno if new how apply fusions (hair extensions)

    thank you

  • that is amazing it must took alot of work maybe like 8 hours of more so much pations

  • Actually, this application took less than an hour.

    --Ms Lola

  • applying adhesive to hair scalp breaks off hair. not a good idea

  • ouch

  • Oh my gosh. those braids look painful... but beauty is pain!!! Finished style looked awesome though!

  • why do you all have to turn a simple hair styling video into a big race debate? shut up and learn!

  • Thankyou sooo much for posting this video..all your videos help....You are truly a blessing!!!

  • i agree. all races wear weaves/wigs/whatever. i think black women have more psychological issues tied to hair. all races hair nice hair. but admit it black women feel some kinda way about their God given texture(s) (not all black women i know have kinky hair)

  • why people wanna be so negative??its a VIDEO on hair styling!!!!GOSH!got nothing else to do, than start fights and be racist on youtube!!

  • this is a nice way to keep from always having to mess with your hair everyday love this concept.

  • hey lol i wanted to ask a question,

Im a guy and i want to have a hair style and hair color lol, umm i was wondering how long dos your hair have to be to have a weave, and the second part of the question is, how long will it stay in for?, and dos the fact that im a difrent race make eny difrence just a question haha?

  • Thanks Ms Lola for using discretion and respect for your model by blocking her face, it was her option and you are on target doing that. I have always felt people with the texting hide behind the words because they are not upfront for one to see.Saying that one can agree to disagree but GOD sees people being meanspirited and making nasty comments and that is not going to fly for you. So if you dont have something productive, constructively crticial or kind to say,B nice dont say anything.

  • shut the fuck upp

  • wow

  • Go to goole images and type the word hair extensions. Tell me what color the people are you see!People wear hair extensions or weave not beause their HAIR is ugly but for many reasons. One reason is to make a drastic hair change with out doing it to your real hair.Another is to not put too much stress on the real hair &another is to make the hair longer or shorter. But yes you did make your self sound ignorant by making a generalization that only blacks wear weave and all of them wear weave!

  • all races wear weave not just blacks!!..gosh!

  • all races wear weave not just blacks!!..gosh!

  • Go to goole images and type the word hair extensions. • Caucasian spearheaded the wearing of wigs, hair pieces, lacefronts, weaves, this is a relatively new option for regular women for celebs of all colors and races had this knowledge. I thank you Ms Lola for you are beautiful, smart, and gracious to share your knowlege of all you do to enhance ones looks. Gives us alternatives for if you check it AA people have the most diverse and delicate texture of hair than any other race. Conditions effect all people just like death had no color,Get REAL.

  • wow . i dont wear weaves myself. but that was hella cool. Is that what Beyonce has?

  • Yes Ma'am

  • NOW Y WOULD YOU BLOCK HER FACE OUT !

  • Not everyone wants the world to know their business

  • thank you ,we women need to learn this stuff !!!!

  • this is for the sew in jessica21.

  • damn, where can i get one of those????

  • I jus got my weave did dat shit is painful cuz!

    --Ms Lola

  • Does this mehtod work only with African hair?

I am a middle eastern with thining hair,,,will this work for me too,or will it cuase more hair loss?
