3rd fret on A string(ring finger), 3rd fret on the D string(pinky), 2nd fret on the G string( middle) and 1st fret on B string (index) and you dont play the High and the low E :)

@Otygett if you don't hav a capo then i would sugest getting one. they arn't very expensive and it helps a lot. im sure that there's a different way to play this song without one. you would just have to find it. In this case though, you need it to be at the same pitch as the original. hope that helps.

Anyways, great lesson Jen! One thing... during the 'rock out' part when playing the F and adding that high Bb, try not to strum the chord so you hear the '7th' - it changes the sound drastically. For this part I play my F 'open' using my thumb on the E string ( I know, bad!) and muting the A string, leaving my pinky free to rock that high note on the first string 3rd fret.

@TheFujitsu14 Of course you can, That 'silver thing' is what is called a Cappo, you place it on a fret where you would rather place a finger over all the string as you would in a bar chord, frees up a finger, and chords involving open strings would sound, 'higher in pitch' hope it helps, and good luck with your guitar learning :)
