  • I played on the lightnning with bo :)

  • had to watch this on mute

    crappy music.

  • yankees!!!!

  • it sucks seeing how a kid taking with the 13th pick named brandon nimmo can't even shine bichette jr shoes with the bat. smfh. can someone please tell me how horrible the mets scouting staff is cause this kid could've been a huge pick up for us. the yankees did the right thing in taking him

  • one thing i can say about this kid is he is an absolute animal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he tears the cover off the ball i know this is old but i just realized his exiting ball speed at its highest was 90 something next to bryce harper who was consistently in the 100 area. this kid bichette jr drops bombs!!!!!!! good pick up for the yankees man i can't believe he went unnoticed though has anyone seen some of the homeruns he's hit on youtube? its ridiculous how his talent was overlooked. I'm a mets fan and

  • Bryce harper

  • YANKEES BABY!!!! Now I know I look at his numers and the kid can hit for power but naybody know how his fielding is and do people think he was a good pick by the yankees???

  • BALLLLLLL SACKED... HE GONNA TEAR THROUGH THE YANKS!!!

  • I only say this man right here when I was watching my team NFC in 2a state champs he seemed like a show off but he knew what he was doing...

  • Did anyone catch that? 108 off the bat!

  • I got to play with this guy in australia these last two weeks. he is legit and is a definite top 2 round guy. he even touches 90 off the mound.

  • I was disappointed when this kid wasn't on the 18u roster this year... 108 exiting ball velocity... 3 more than Harper's 502ft Homer. wow

  • Georgia Bulldog.

  • that is the best V12 ever made. it drops bombs!!!! as you can see

  • @SplapMeDoooo im pretty sure its not the bat thats doing that

  • @AthecrashA i know its not just the bat but really though that specific v12 is the best one

  • i hate this kid

i've played against them allot !!

  • dante played in the 2005 LLWS vs my team in the 2nd game of pool play. Newtwon

  • i played in all stars with his brother bo, he hit a grand slam lol but we still beat him, and he had a limping foot too lol.

  • why's bryce such a huge deal if this kid is just as old and hit more homers? just because he didn't put it 500ft?

  • @troyrichardson15ice the fact that bryce is 16 and DID put it over 500 feet

  • how old is Bichette?

  • his brother is bo bicheete right??

  • nice swing

  • I saw his Daddy play in Coors field. The best clutch hitter in Rockies history. That kid is his clone, except he is light years ahead of his Dad at his age. He has been groomed from a very early age to be a baseball player, plus he has the genetics, both his mother and father are athletes. His Dad is close with Joe Girardi, so I suspect the yankees will draft him. It would be great to hear his name announced in Coors field, I just hope he plays Sledge Hammer for his music.

  • @TonyTony1492 right you were my man! hopefully, he does great.

  • @TonyTony1492

    Nice prediction.

  • @TonyTony1492 yup. girardi did pick dante jr in the draft pick

  • @TonyTony1492

Nice call. Yankees drafted him as their 1st round pick.

  • Good thing that kid, and probably most these kids, know that the only way to experience success is to risk failure and the subsequent judgment from all these people who can't wait for some kid's hard work NOT to pay off. BTW big leaguers, by virtue of having made it past the millions who also tried, don't suck, period. And steroids? Neither Dante did or will do them- it'll be whatever it is, but cool that you can sit behind a user name and claim to know. Awesome.

  • I'm on his HS team this year, and was last year, everybody better watch out because Orangewood is out for the title this year. D is simply a beast, and for all of you claiming roids: you guys are idiots. He also competed this year but powershowcase hasn't posted this years videos on YouTube yet. He placed second, despite the fact that he hit the most overall homeruns. And, yes, he is definately a first round prospect. Ask anyone who has played with or againt him.

  • All these kids are obviously very talented. One thing I notice though is a ton of movement in their stances pre-swing, with their hands and strides. I'm a big fan of the phrase "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but speaking as a .350 hitter in D1 ball I would try to shorten up some of the strides these kids take. Granted it's a HR Derby, but in some game film its the same. Just a thought, but good luck to these kids they have a ton of potential and bright futures.

  • im in HS and When i play a game i take Big steps in to the ball and i dont get alot hits but i have a lot of power and hit HRs when needed if i want to get more hits should i take smaller steps?

  • Obviously I can't see your swing but I'm guessing with a big stride and some pop that you probably have a long swing. If you say you have a lot of power then you don't need a bigger stride to generate it. A short stride allows you to see the ball longer and sit back on offspeed pitches. Keep working hard and swinging everyday and you'll be fine. concentrate on staying short and quick to the ball. Trust yourself up there.

  • he wuz in the 2005 Little League World Series

  • long swing? His swing is identicle to Ken Griffey Juniors and he has not done too bad in the majors.

  • he has such a long swing

  • That long arm swing is gonna hurt him, just pitch him inside.

  • he just has a long finish but he is actually pretty short to the ball

  • Too bad he doesn't get electrocuted by the bat after homeruns like his dad did. Best homerun reaction EVER.

  • I like how there's a stadium announcer even though nobody's there

  • did he play in the LLWS?

  • yes

  • i did too i played for great lakes in 2007

  • @sablpitcher5 yeah I remember him

  • He's just as creepy looking as his dad

  • hahahaha, that's cold. Dante is a man of many mullets! hahaha

  • wat is that number that comes up next to the player after they swing

  • exiting ball velocity

  • @PowerShowcase hey are you sure cuz i think it might be the players bat speed. please correct me if im wrong cuz i prollly thought wrong

  • @frenchiejr00

anything over 100 is pretty insane

  • His swing isn't even that bad it's just his extension and follow through that look different. The first part of his swing looks quite normal actually.

  • his swing looks so awkward but hey whatever works for him i mean look at craig counsils old swing that looked extremely weird too

  • he swing isnt that bad. you guys are just paying to much attention to his finish. his swing is pretty good as his bat gets to the ball.

  • Wow! I know him...he goes to my school

  • I think the reason so many ppl have weird swings is becasue it works for them. I mean compare how many ppl have weird swings in the majors to the ratio of ppl having them in high school. theres a big difference

  • same swing as Longoria.

  • the reason he is able to hit it out with a little bit of messy swing is his amazing bat speed

  • If you make it to the pros, you dont suck..Two if you actually watched some of the pro's you'd see that a bunch of them have swings that not many ppl could get away with. They're just tremendous atheleats. Dante Jr. is one of those..plus his swing isnt even that bad lol.

  • how do these people get away with that messsy of a swing? and still hit the ball 400ft. does he work out 24/7?

  • it doesn't matter how "messy" you are before you get into the 'power position.' From there, he's very short to and through the ball. And he's just naturally a big kid.

  • I love that swing by the way lol it's so sweet

  • his swing sucks and he will suck, like father like son

  • Why such hostility for dante, are you still upset he left the exspos?

  • lol jealous much, mrmandelbrot?

  • Love that follow thru.

  • Little Dante's gonna be legit. He doesn't need steroids yet and he knows it. He's got his dad's NATURAL power. Dante didn't roid up. He just dominated Coors Field. He couldn't hit breaking pitches unless they were hangers like Coors used to generate. I do agree his swing is a little sloppy though.

  • i remember this kid in th llws he has always had tremendous power

  • i was invited to play on his aau team

  • im friends with this kid. smd

  • i"ve played with this kid

  • anybody know what bat hes using. the aluminum one. i cant tell it sounds good though

  • SoCalm013 he is using the easton v12

  • fuck bryce harper dante bichettes dirty

  • I like his swing. This kids gonna be good that's for sure..maybe even better than his dad.

  • i remember this kid from the little league world series. he's a monster

  • 4:10

    wow

  • i played against this guy this past year and this kid is the realest, best high school player ive ever played against hands down

  • a next generation of Bichette nice, hope the kid can make it to the bigs and play for Colorado like his dad

  • He'll make it to the Bigs.

  • That would be SICK!

  • also the one at 5 40

  • the homerun at 4 10 is insane

  • he looks just like his dad

  • cdsplaya dosent know shit. Last year half the kids in this competition were drafted. Wow they really suck.

  • cdsplaya your an idiot bc the guy bryce harper is ranked the best high school player in the nation

  • cdsplaya yo these guys are repersenting there states they are god they are going D1 and pro

  • GR34T

  • its really not that hard to hit cock shots pitched by a pitching machine... Most of these guys probably wont even end up playing D 1 baseball, let alone be drafted.

  • he just looks pubed upnothin special harper is more of a tank

  • no byrce harper is better but this kid is still a beast.

  • dadys lil boy

  • him and bryce harper are such good hitters holy ****

  • how can u say that? just because some kid is big and strong u think they took roids its sad that everyone looks at sports like that

  • yeah they're jealous

  • most of these kids take roids, just come to south florida most of your top prospects have used some sort of roids, and im not saying every prospect did@

  • yeah he prob had help (roids) just like his Dad.

  • Comment removed

  • Sloppy swing but he's got sick power
