  • man you rock!! this is accurate, cool, grat control of harmony and techinque, I can truly say you really nailed it!, I would like to know, if you used modes?, and in the progression of chords, I can say you were mostly in A major, but then appears de G7 and the Cm7, did you jumped to a minor tonality?? :S, well and the outside tonality, sounds pretty cool, any tip for that?? haha a few questions :P

  • my jaw dropped to the floor

  • what guitar is that?

  • totally sick

  • Excellent, bud.

  • Congratulations, great playing!

  • Awesome Licks!

  • Great playing!!

    Nice tone and feel!

  • Fuckin hell dude! Awesome

  • Que marca es tu guitarra? please

  • @dermina130589 It's an MK Custom from our country Bosnia and Herzegovina, made by a guy called Mirza Kovacevic. Believe me, a great guitar! ;) cheers

  • :32 - :35 was strung together so well. :)

  • Tough job, man!

  • wow, great !

  • if only you have a real band behind your playing..

  • I wanna ask you some question,if you don't mind :)

I hear many fusion guitar players(govan, howe, pejcinoski) which,as you do, use some chromatic licks and particular scales...Can you tell me what kind of scales they are and on which chords i can use them??

    Sorry for my bad englis,btw...XD

  • @Chitarrometro An easy intro to start putting chromatics in to your playing, is to take the scales you already know (it could be any scale) and anytime you have a note that is a whole step (for example, a note that skips a fret, such as 7th fret to the 9th fret) and fill in the missing note. So for example, take a pentatonic scale in a minor, and put a 6 between each of the 5 to 7's.

Don't play those notes long, just use them to get from one scale note to another, as a passing note, or filler.

  • Nice!!!

    Alot of Greg Howe influences!!

  • Nice. Sounds very Steve Vaish :)

  • this is not an improv right? if it is or not , great solo

  • ohh damn you're a monster..

  • Sweet stuff

  • sick

  • God, sounds so hard to play

  • are u skiping some strings wen u do the tapping??

  • @helgaperez

    Yes I do

  • @murisv why?

  • Two Questions: (1) What type of equipment do i need to emulate tht sound and (2) How can i learn how to play like that (Greg Howe) style?

  • @Kedcooks

    1) There are too many ways to achieve a sound like this,

all you need is certain amount of drive, proper EQ and perhaps bit of delay.

    2) Best way would be to learn licks by the man himself. :)

  • I liked the part from 0:34 to 0:36. What do you call that. It sounded incredible. Also at 0:45 to the end was wicked.

  • very extreme !! NICE RIFF !!

  • I've mastered note for note, the techniques of Paul Gilbert, and Yngwie Malmsteen, but when it comes to this kind of guitar playing, I just don't know what the fuck to do. I hope some day I can understand the insanity that goes on inside someones head when they find these spectacular note choices.

  • Muris smokes just about every clown on the cover of guitar magazine and I'd say 99.9% of any guitar player your gonna hear on the radio. Just kind of goes to show it's not always about talent alone but having some kind of gimmic or act that is gonna make some record exec a lot of money. Muris friggen ROCKS!!!

  • @TheTom5150 Muris was born as a baby with a guitar already in his hand. LOL. He's simply amazing and technically gifted. A true master of his craft.

  • fuckin awesome man

  • where's the lesson?

  • thats a nice lick you're playing at 0:48 !

What do you call something like that?

  • @megafucker2

That's actually borrowed from Greg Howe, not sure how to call it tho,

    barre and no barre. ::)

  • Holy Bovine. That cooks!

  • Thats Amazing! I want to sign in to GMC to get the tabs but i haven't got a credit card^^

  • nice! great playing dude! you bought that guitar in bosnia? expensive? heading over there next summer...

  • nice hybrid picking!

  • Has a bit of a Greg Howe vibe, totally dig it.

  • this guy is more like a metal musician...with his feel of jazz... sounds heavy and strong

  • Govan for the president. ;)

  • BIEN . . . MUY BIEN!!!

  • you are very talented

  • Top notch!

  • Thanks guys!

There could be some Henderson in there since this is kind a nature fusion but the truth is, I never payed much attention on him which is my bad by all means,

    gonna fix that asap! :)

  • Sweet chops and nice feel. I swear I can hear a little Scott Henderson in there...

Great stuff Muris. I'm considering starting to use your lessons.

  • nice

  • You can find basics of Fusion everywhere,

I've found it pretty much listening to players like Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Frank Gambale etc. :)

  • Thx Murisv ,i learn a lot of licks of Howe ,Govan & Gambale but nothing of basic rules !! Basic rules ?? or just inspiration ?? Anyway i like your fresh style on guitar, keep this way

  • Well yeah, more like inspiration.

But if you've learned lot of licks then you can easily

find out what are the basics. :)

  • Lol yeah it's like jazz of today's .I'm so "glup" sometimes. Thx again cool guy : )

  • WOW

  • Steve vai doesnt do tat...

  • you just know what you'r doing that's awesom !!!

  • amazing

  • Did he use mixolydian on E7 ?

  • It's actually B Dorian over E7 but you can think of it

as E Mixo if you like, same notes but different root note,

I like of think of B instead cause B is root chord after all.

  • oohh...it's sound like mixo...so I thought it was mixo...hehe...

    I'm currently learning modes...

and I find it difficult to understand...

    thx for the info Muris..

  • You're welcome. :)

  • yes....B ...the root for the section in question...Dorian..

  • nice playng

  • how the flipping fuck did you learn how do play like that????

  • it's called practice

  • lol

  • Kevin Eubanks used to play the same way, with the hybrid pick and middle finger, before he switched to thumb and middle finger. I think its a very cool approach, and no I'm not referring to the tapping.

  • Awesome!!

  • yeah dude!

    that was fucken sweet!

    Very smooth!

  • BORING????????!!!!!!

What planet do you live on?

    That was brilliant!
