this takes place in the far future, which means everyone is dead, and the characters you see are all copy's of the original which is why Iris, Wily, Light and everyone else are alive.

Besides, the developers of Korea make games so that you absolutely CANNOT play without cash, buying items off the net, creating horrible balancing of the characters and gameplay. Well fine, it's the only way they can earn their dough. Hm.. guys i'm sorry to say we don't expect this game too much in Korea. Many people worry this gameplay won't fit into the hunt-lvl up-receive skill type of mmorpg games. Luckily based on the gameplay teaser it seems to be in arcade format rather than mouse clicking - god helped that didn't happen, but still we're a bit skeptical. (We're always skeptical.)

X seems like an advance body for Megaman. Who told you they were different people? Capcom hasnt said anything, and if they have, give me thier quote, and cite the source.

The explanation for the how X became what he is, seems to be that Megaman was "upgraded" with a new identity, including more serious personality and a new body. im guilty of not having any confirmed info on this, but its more an implied theory from the games.
