For me this game gets a virtually perfect 10/10. I consider The Subspace Emissary to be a great strong point as, unlike the 15-20 minute "adventure mode" in Melee, it's actually a full length side-scrolling platformer/beat'm up game. Plus it has a dropin/dropout co-op feature. When comparing this to most other fighting games I'd say as a whole it has about 10 times as much to do. When playing with friends the replay value becomes near infinite. Consider the game's market and demographic appeal

You know, I didn't really like Brawl. There are too many visuals going all at once, and the "final smash" moves are over-the-top. Quite honestly, I think that the game is, at best, a 6 or a 7, rated only by the larger list and better graphics. As far as items, trophies, adventure and whatever the rest of it has, it just adds on to my visual shit list.

8/10 is a good rating for this game. this game is usualy overrated. it has many flaws in the extra stuff like stage builder (why so many restrections and so few blocks to work with?) and master pieces (srsly a 10 seconed demo for ice climbers. whats the point of that?!) as well as the fact they just threw sonic in at the last minute it all just seems like its not quite finished. over all it has flaws but its a great game and worth your time and money but its only deserving of and 8/10.

yes it is but the single player to most people can get very old SSBB is meant to be played on multiplayer.

honestly I've spent a crazy amount of hours on multiplayer matches with friends localy or online or strangers online on SSBB and its very addictive.

As much as your right Brick, the game has loads more features. Stage Building, new characters, events, cutscenes, trophyboards, and un-doughtably the best music in a game yet. The fun is it's the same game because how much better can a game get. Like if it were to change it would ruin the fun. I also dissagree by along shot. The game should be rated 9.5 or even a 10 itself, although the Subspace Emissary sucked it's still a amazing game.

I don;t want anyone to think that I bitch about the game because I can't win...not true. The fact is, that if you use the c stick or tend to spam moves with a character...I will beat you (at least in a one on one) plain and simple. The only benefit for me concerning idiot spammers and c stickers is that they are so predictable it only takes a couple of minutes to have their entire repertoire of combos memorized, making countering moves a sure thing.

I think this game had a lot of problems with the fighting set up. In Brawl, I have not seen one person who uses a character WITHOUT a long range move...save Ike or the other "powerhouse" characters.. This game allows players to literally run around like a confused rookie, using Din's Fire, PK fire, or Pits arrows whenever possible. In other words, the integrity of the game was lost, and now players will do anything, from chucking items, to c sticking constantly to increase their online rating.

What I meant was the individual players online rating: in terms of wins and losses. I understand that no one WANTS to lose. But 90% of the people that I have played online always choose the same characters. Anyway, no one seems to care about having a FUN match of smash bros. As long as someone can win a game by constantly using the c stick with Ike, they will continue to do it. If they run into better competition they run away for the whole battle. This game is too easy for anyone to WIN.
