I noticed that too. He gets the baritone tone when he's RELAXED in the studio, it makes a huge difference and it applies to just about everything from a golf swing to a right hook.

You should listen to "Who's to Blame?" off of their Street Signs album. Chali2na tears up the track and you would like it because of the deep voiced rapping.

agreed, Chali's rap is a nonstop vocal assault on that track. If I am not mistaken, he rejoined Ozo in 2008 for a tour or two and they played the classic tunes from the first album, but he unfortunately quit again.

@SkaMasta097 They did some tours as Ozomatli with Chali2na," but they never announced he had officially rejoined the band. My impression was that they were having fun playing together, but weren't making it an official reunion. I wish he WOULD rejoin them officially, though! Their percussionist Justin has turned into a pretty good MC, but they are badass with Chali.
