We are having trouble staffing a 24 hour occupation at my local movement because of the amount of employment we have in our ranks. This is not a liberal or conservative issue. When people get together to protest it is usually peaceful but it can get unruly and certain situations lend themselves to mob mentalities. It is a behavior that happens to people of all ideologies. That is why it is necessary for police to be present at all protest. People trying to make unruly behavior a common thing among people of one political group more than another are simply using their bias. This stuff is called life.

The video doesn’t show how both ladies fell down, but I suspect that the guy screaming "let go" was probably trying to get away and some how accidentally made them fall. But frankly, it is impossible to tell how they fell. Granted, some occupiers have done stupid things, but it is disingenuous to accuse every protester of being the same way. The DC Occupiers were attacked by the Tea Party people and police. Though the protest got a little out of hand from the side of the "occupiers" with the banging on the doors they never attacked any one, but were attacked and manhandled by the police and Tea Partiers. Meaning: TEA PARTY VIOLENTLY FIGHT OFF NON-VIOLENT OWS PROTESTERS! By the way, the protesters never got through the door, so there was no raid. An attempt on a raid, probably.

@Jordo713 I have a job and I am a full time student. My friend Lasha who is sitting right next to me has two jobs. We are having trouble staffing a 24 hour occupation at my local movement because of the amount of employment we have in our ranks. How then can you call us a bunch of "degenerates that want a hand out" when confronted with this information? We don't want big govt. In fact, many of us have anarchistic tendencies and anarchism is about as small a government as you can ask for.

There were injuries all right-injures to Occupy DC protesters rammed by cars. We too 4 or 5 wounded. One of those woman knocked to the ground was pushed down by a cop and the other by a big man charging out of the event.
I was there ( seach "Video of Occupy DC Siege of Koch brothers funded event at Washington Convention Center" on Liveleak)
I wished we had stormed the building kicking a bunch of asses, but that's not what Occupy DC does

@weylin420 The Fed is a federal regulatory agency that is, at best quasi-private, like Fannie and Freddie. Capitalism opposes bailouts, and the purchasing of politicians is created when these politicians provide the corporations the incentive to do so. I don't know if you're aware of this, but you describe what is invariably the result of abuse of government and attribute it to capitalism.

This is not a liberal or conservative issue. When people get together to protest it is usually peaceful but it can get unruly and certain situations lend themselves to mob mentalities. It is a behavior that happens to people of all ideologies. That is why it is necessary for police to be present at all protest. People trying to make unruly behavior a common thing among people of one political group more than another are simply using their bias. This stuff is called life.
