PC's do exactly what you tell them to, and if you download something that takes over your PC, it's your own fault. Stay away from Limewire then, download an open source Firewall, and Antivirus which are free, stay up to date and you're set. I use my machine every day, I work and play on it, I write, I download, I play games, listen to music, and even play multiple games at once while roleplaying, and listening to music. (I run a client that auto-levels my character on an mmo. Which is why I run two games.) My PC hasn't fucked up yet.

The only time I've had to fix my PC (Actually Operating system) is because of my own human error. I was messing with Ubuntu, and screwed up my XP install. Otherwise, Windows on it's own, and my hardware have not given me any fuss. 90% of my computer's parts came from an OEM. My opinion? Only use a computer that you know how to, unless you like to get your hands onto new experiences, and new operating systems. What you say is untrue for intelligent, and knowledgeable users of said OS.

It comes down to personal preference. Both Windows (you really shouldn't use the term PC when talking about Windows) and Mac OS have it's strong points and draw backs.
I do have this to say however. I am an A+, MSCE, Net+, Security+, Server+ certified PC technician .... and my home computers are a MacPro and MacBook.
I don't own a PC because I can just load Windows onto my MacPro and I'm good to go.

If you were to search for problems with windows there would be a fuckload more reported problems than with osx. Blue screens? Data loss? The guy is literally reeling off problems that occur with windows, not osx. Neither operating system is perfect (none are) but in my experience windows breaks more often than osx, with or without the added threat of viruses.
Anyone who says Vista doesnt suck...never used it! Now windows 7 and the other had works great (so far) and looks great too! I prefer mac OSX over windows just cuz it DOES work better. I do have vista of my work laptop and i have a mac pro at home... Vista isnt that great to be honest glitchy and every so often i get BSOD. With my mac pro... running strong.. No problems, what so ever...
I'm using Vista x86(aka 32 bit). And I enjoy it:) Internet runs smoother rather than XP, but even though boot up time isn't the "Best" (My boot up is around a minute, rather than XP on my other laptop which boots up in around 30-40 secs). But the thing is you need a well enough spec PC to run vista, unlike other idiots which put Vista on their Windows 2000 PRO PC. Specs 4 me: Intel Core 2 Duo (Centrino 1) 1.83 GHz Processor, 3GB DDR2 Ram, 250 GB Hard Drive, A/B/G Wireless Network Card. :) yay.
The newer vista ultimate (what ive used lately) was working very nice. I think windows 7 is a lot better, but you DO have to put the OS on a good enough computer or it isnt going to work well. my mac runs windows well with only one core, one gig of ram, and half my video ram designated. it does work better on my house PCs. I dont HATE PC i just dont care for it even with windows 7 working nicer. But i just like Mac ALOT more!

Vista doesn't suck, and I've used it. I used the 32-bit one, the one that had most of the "problems". I kept it running good for two years, when all the specs became a thing of the past, no viruses, no crashes, no service needed. Now I've upgraded to Windows 7 and my computer will kick your Mac's ass.

That's a pretty big boast, saying you haven't had a virus for ten years. I run a decent, free firewall, and antivirus program on XP, and even I've managed to get myself a piece of Adware. (One of those "Antivirus" programs that installs, alerting the user of their infected system, all infections fake of course.) Other then that, I've not had an issue, same as you. If you know what does, and what does not work, why did you go through all of those PCs? The only computer I've ever had stop working, was my laptop. It worked great up until the point the hardware went bad. (Dropped it, and abused it unknowingly.) Yes I got viruses on it, because of my own stupidity, but that was a very long time ago. That laptop was 9 years old. The rest of the computer I've ever owned ran as they should for their time. Know your argument.
Also, I've only ever owned 4 PC's. Three desktops, and one laptop. Only one ever broke down, the rest I took apart, and replaced with more up-to-date parts. All free of course, I salvaged parts from broken down PCs. Current computer works great for a 6 year outdated machine. Still games decent. Never had a virus on this machine. (1 year and a few months since I put it together.)

That's not true. Most of the programs do work on Macs. And when a program doesn't work, there is ALWAYS a valid alternative. If you can't find it for your mac, then you probably don't need it. You can even use windows inside leopard, so you have no limits, but that's another thing.

I have mac and pc running on my iMac, I use vista for games (the performance is pretty good) and leopard for EVERYTHING else, I have NEVER had a problem on either ( I don't get on the internet on Vista because on my old PC's I ended up with viruses) but as far as mac goes I've never had a problem no "blue screen" as described in the video, or lag, or anything. Amazing speed on Leopard, and Vista, I personally like Leopard better because its slightly faster to boot and run programs. =]

I don't own a PC because I can just load Windows onto my MacPro and I'm good to go.

If you were to search for problems with windows there would be a fuckload more reported problems than with osx. Blue screens? Data loss? The guy is literally reeling off problems that occur with windows, not osx. Neither operating system is perfect (none are) but in my experience windows breaks more often than osx, with or without the added threat of viruses.

Anyone who says Vista doesnt suck...never used it! Now windows 7 and the other had works great (so far) and looks great too! I prefer mac OSX over windows just cuz it DOES work better. I'm using Vista x86(aka 32 bit). And I enjoy it:) Internet runs smoother rather than XP, but even though boot up time isn't the "Best" (My boot up is around a minute, rather than XP on my other laptop which boots up in around 30-40 secs). But the thing is you need a well enough spec PC to run vista, unlike other idiots which put Vista on their Windows 2000 PRO PC. Specs 4 me: Intel Core 2 Duo (Centrino 1) 1.83 GHz Processor, 3GB DDR2 Ram, 250 GB Hard Drive, A/B/G Wireless Network Card. :) yay.

The newer vista ultimate (what ive used lately) was working very nice. I think windows 7 is a lot better, but you DO have to put the OS on a good enough computer or it isnt going to work well. my mac runs windows well with only one core, one gig of ram, and half my video ram designated. it does work better on my house PCs. I dont HATE PC i just dont care for it even with windows 7 working nicer. But i just like Mac ALOT more!

Vista doesn't suck, and I've used it. I used the 32-bit one, the one that had most of the "problems". I kept it running good for two years, when all the specs became a thing of the past, no viruses, no crashes, no service needed. Now I've upgraded to Windows 7 and my computer will kick your Mac's ass.

If you know what does, and what does not work, why did you go through all of those PCs? The only computer I've ever had stop working, was my laptop. It worked great up until the point the hardware went bad. (Dropped it, and abused it unknowingly.) Yes I got viruses on it, because of my own stupidity, but that was a very long time ago. That laptop was 9 years old. The rest of the computer I've ever owned ran as they should for their time. Know your argument.

Also, I've only ever owned 4 PC's. Three desktops, and one laptop. Only one ever broke down, the rest I took apart, and replaced with more up-to-date parts. All free of course, I salvaged parts from broken down PCs. Current computer works great for a 6 year outdated machine. Still games decent. Never had a virus on this machine. (1 year and a few months since I put it together.)

again, when claiming to use *facts* actually use them. Every operating system has bugs, you will find 'stories' about them on the web if you search for them no matter what OS you're using. And as for regular updates; all mac os X distributions have had the ability to automatically download updates, just like windows does.
at the end of the day, I know a dozen vista users who hate it and a fair few people who have gone out of their way to get a computer with xp, personal preference is all it is.

Sorry but no computer OS is without its issues. But Leopard is a far superior OS to Vista.....far superior!
I used PC's for 20 years and I am no fanboy of either OS, but I know which one is more stable and handles itself much better...Leopard.
I doubt the people who make these have ever used one for more then a minute.

Tiger and Leopard arn't perfect, no OS is. They have their fair share of bugs, compability problems and crashes too.
Still, they are FAR superior to any Windows OS and especially to Windows vista in every single aspect, they play in two different leagues. Who are you trying to kid?

That's not true. Most of the programs do work on Macs. And when a program doesn't work, there is ALWAYS a valid alternative. If you can't find it for your mac, then you probably don't need it. You can even use windows inside leopard, so you have no limits, but that's another thing.

I have mac and pc running on my iMac, I use vista for games (the performance is pretty good) and leopard for EVERYTHING else, I have NEVER had a problem on either ( I don't get on the internet on Vista because on my old PC's I ended up with viruses) but as far as mac goes I've never had a problem no "blue screen" as described in the video, or lag, or anything. Amazing speed on Leopard, and Vista, I personally like Leopard better because its slightly faster to boot and run programs. =]

but XP is by far the best OS for multi purpose use (in the sence of games, word processing, internet, etc)
MACS ROCK at multimedia style applications such as the whole range of cs3 products like photoshop etc
and did you know windows 2000 is the best and most efficiant OS for gaming out there? It can run all current/recent games that are worth running and it's performance is unbeatable! But I haven't tried it, this is just what I hear

well I can't say vista is crap, only to me, because I need performance for games! but you might not mind, so vista is good for you, but I'm very picky, along with a lot of other people who don't like it, we're just really picky :> if you have vista and you keep it in good nik, (by not installing 283947 programs) then Vista can be very nice and cool looking, handy too, I love the instant search functions for eg, just for me vista runs a bit too slow
