  • one of the most beautiful scenes in any movie ive ever seen. coppolla you amaze me

  • This was my absolute favorite scene from the movie. Thank you ;______;

  • the combination of the French Revolution paired with 80's New Wave is MAGIC.

  • my favorite scene

  • This is magical.

  • im so jealous of her right now

wish it was me aww love the scene :)

  • best scene with best music

  • this is my favourite scene :D

  • Une bouteille de Champagne, quelques amis et le lever de soleil....HMMMM !!!

Mon Dieu que la vie est belle.

  • @bobduvar ohhh Je sais!!!!

  • I love this part of the movie

  • i don't know why, but in my opinion i think (bizzarely) that the whole 18th century setting and the modern music go well together. the whole "ceremony" and "hong kong garden" thing captures their youthly decadence well.

  • what's the name of the song?

  • Ceremony

    (New Order is The band)

  • I <3 this film!!!

  • adoro qst scena,bellissima

  • Genial! Poner "Ceremony" en esta escena.

  • fantastica pelicula de sofia coppola, lastima q no funcionase bien en taquilla...

  • I have never seen the film but have been tempted. Now that I know not to expect realism, I think that I can accept this and appreciate it.

  • amazing! that was one of my favourite films of all time.

  • ohhhhh lol cuz like half the movie i was like where the hell is te dog lol

  • did she ever get her little dog, Mops, back?

  • ehm, she was actually she was alloud to keep it. I have had history classes about here, I am European you know. And it is the only thing in the movie that isn´t correct

  • WHAT? I love this movie and I'm not even a MA buff, but I know that the dog isn't "the only thing in the movie that isn't correct." How about the fact that she had four children not three like in the movie! It was her second daughter that died not her second son.

  • Anyway the movie was not meant to be a history review of EVERYthing she went through. Actually the movie is mostly about the real life of a teenager that became queen and multimillioinare all of a sudden. Thats why the movie has all this kind of ''rock and indie'' music... its all about her joy and her happiness all in between a huge public and private presion.

  • so what if your Europian? Im Europian and it doesnt mean i know more about MA than somene who was say American

  • yep,she sure did,by special courier

  • omg i love love love this movie! whenever i watch the party scenes or anything like this im like omg that is soooo me haha i get what you guys mean about the longing feeling great job i love this movie [;

  • This is soo my favorite scene, and I love it so much! But her life was verry sad actually

  • how are they so different from us? or else if we were them would we be so very different?

  • yes .

    to your second query .

  • why can't I post what I want to post? it gives me an error message?

  • I try to be real and I will not be able to say that I wouldn't be that different from them if I was in that position.

  • That is to say that I hope that I have morals and that I wouldn't do a lot of the things they do, but I love life, family, friends and to party and if I had more time and money that I have now like them I would definetly live it up.

  • i would hope that anyone in their position, instead of hoard money and use it for splendors which most unfortunately the greater half of the world is deprived of, would rather try and solve some of the world's biggest issues . a lot of issues rely on money and the lack of money, and i'll go so far as to say it disgusts me to see the indifference and lack of regard with which miss antoinette spent it .

  • Okay if you actually read about her (real life) you would realize that she was a VERY charitable woman. She did prohibit the royal jeweler to send her more jewerly. She did what she could with the amount of power and money that she had. The country was bankrupt (on its way anyway) decades before Louis XVII got in power. Also the war in America sponsored by the French government aided in the situation of the country.

  • all that you are saying is true, you know i have had history classes about her, thanks for the good information

  • no problem! I love this scene too.

  • This movie sadly does not touch upon deeply into the things that she did for her people, but they do mention things here and there and it is up to people to find out the truth and what happened in real life.

  • I also want to add that I agree that people with money and power have a responsibility for the improvement of mankind. Sadly that is not true of all rich and powerful people, but there are many out there. However, I cannot fault those that are responsible and giving (like MA was as she got older) for partying and living it up (as she did when she was younger). As she got older she matured and changed it happens.

  • You realize of course these were some of the greediest people ever right?

  • this is probably the bestest part of the movie

  • Yeah I agree. I wish I could live so free and unpreoccupied.

  • my favorite part either.

  • i know exactly what you mean calicore, during all the party scenes in this movie, especially this one, I just kept getting an overwhelming sense of longing to live so freely.

  • ahhh I totally understand

  • This was my favorite part in the movie. I wish I could feel like this.

  • I know what you mean.

  • This song give's me the chill's it so good!!
