Thats for PvE, PvP is:

C) High damage powers

D) Low-Moderate energy costing powers. Can totally remove this by having enough Energy in general.

thats why they made custom frameworks, can chose whaterver you want and make leveling easy whereas CoH, you were stuck with 2 sets, that always sucked. None was for soloing. Possibly Brute and Scrapper, and Mastermind, butt hats besides the point.

This time, they want customizable, and fairly easy, but still a bit challenging. You cant solo everything. Gotta have the right powers on a few things.

Maybe that will change as more of a community forms around the game.

He used the hell out of Gauntlet Chainsaw, which is fucking powerful but not OP, because it costs an asston of energy and is melee-only. His other powers are either UP or balanced.

He is also using Invulnerability, which is fantastic for surviving hordes of henchmen, since it reduces damage by a set, flat amount in addition to a percentage, so it can reduce henchmen damage straight to 0 if you stat STR high enough. Also, he is blocking a lot, so that reduces damage even further.

The graphics definitely look better in-game, that said however, It's very true that the graphics are completely horribly disgusting on older mid-low end computer(like a messy clash of N64, Ps1, and early Ps2 graphics)... For this game to look good you need to use high quality graphics settings and a computer that can support those settings. :)

I was in beta and my biggest issue with this game is since you can choose any power you want, i ended up running into powers i just loved and had to refrain from picking them again on alts so i could have a different experience but i'd start missing those powers and i'd end up having less fun. With the option there your hardly forced to adjust. My second issue is how alot of the powers from different frameworks only mesh with that framework.

For example, there was a heal power in super natural and while in beta it was a click heal, its secondary effect improved regeneration with the regeneration passive but i just used it for a pick me up...Now (atleast as far as im still aware from the open beta portion). It's really only good with regen, i don't believe there is a heal at all, just regen increase and a higher recharge.

I agree, although i'm not currently playing it, i LOVED CoH, but i have some issues with some of the central mechanics which will never change obviously so. They really should do follow up reviews on these games after changes. Hey, they did it with the PS3. It should be base for everyone too like a standard, 3 months after any MMO release gets a 2nd review or something, that would encourage content increase and bug fixes, plus its not all that much time to wait if your unsure.

PvP still need some more balance tweaks (although they just did a big rebalance patch that helped alot), Its just very unpolished in certain areas. BUT its still a ton of fun. I'd say its a 7/10 right now, but after a couple big patches it could easily be a 9/10.

@hellblood9, what do you want to know? Its a Comicbook MMO. Its very interesting, they give you alot of freedom to make your own super hero. They even let you pick and choose powers from any set, so you can come up with something totally original. I think the game has potential, they just need to get some bugs out of the way and add more content.

@Strcorporal21, It has alot of awesome moments, but its still very buggy and needs more content. If you really wanna try it out, go for it, but if you can wait, give it a month and see how the Blood Moon patch turns out. Its supposted to have Zombie based PvP which should be awesome.

I like this game because you don't have to grind so much stuff and its alot more action based. Not sure about the specs though.
