My god this is one of my favourite songs ever. FaastArrows is so right about this drummer! I thought the drum beat was computer generated, that's why it was so nuts! These guys are genius.

@Ghefly The drums are computer generated on the album, but the drummer does a good job of replicating it here. There is no variation between hits on the recording and the cymbals are often played without the initial downbeat. If you play a crash repeatedly it will naturally get louder every time it is hit. On the recording, there is no increase in note velocity.

cee-lo's voice is so awesome to begin with so he doesn't need studio effects to enhance it.

unlike many artists these days, who use studio effects to make it sound good in the studio, but when it's time to tour, the effects aren't there to save them, and they end up failing... miserably.
