Although, it was not until 1600, that it was fully explained. The proof is, the old testament, written 1600 b.c, explains the water cycle perfectly. Job 26:8, Eccl 1:6-7; 11:3, Amos 9:6. Another one is Earth's shape. For many years after Christ, the earth was believed to be flat. Job 26:10, Prov 8:27, Isaiah 40:22, and Amos 9:6

God himself did not die as in he ceased to exist, but Jesus Christ the God-man died, suffering the wrath of God.
