  • you know that you're a LOTR nerd when you can match each part of this song to different scenes in the movie

  • Wise Ron Paul (Gandalf) 2012!! thumbs up for freedom and honesty!

  • A wizard is never early nor is he ever late. A wizard always arrives precisely when he intends to.

  • @eelikay I wonder how many believe in the things these books tell of. If YOU do, vote Ron Paul. To me he is our Gandalf in the fight against big and evil government.

  • So I was writing one of my school essays about the Revolution of France.. and we are supposed to write it like if we were one of the persons there, and I decided to write about when they attacked Russia but almost of all of them died because of the cold and that they didn't have any food.. they escaped back to France.. and while writing the journey home I listened to this.. and I have never in my life written something so good, the emotions and all while the song was playing.. amazing ♥

  • Omg lego lord of the rings

  • me haz shivers hearing this :)

  • You know what? 214 people can just go die, for all I'm concerned. They are complete and utter douches.

  • Peter Jackson is the real lord of the rings.

  • I cried so much at the end of The Return of the King. I didn't want it to end. I want to see what Frodo and Gandolf are doing right now and how Sam is living his life. Mary and Pippin, I miss their laughter and their hope. I wish my dreams could continue these movies, but for now the Hobbit will resurrect what has been so greatly missed. Forever my heart will be warmed by this story and it's music. "End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path..."

    <3 Forever LOTR

  • Me: dont cry dont cry dont cr- Boohoo hoohooo

  • Thumbs up if you can't put your love of The Lord of The Rings into words.

  • Then Peter Jackson or Howard Shore

  • Tolkien was the greatest man who ever lived

  • I really, really wish I was part of the making of this movie. Any part, playing a Uruk Hai. Would probably be one of the greatest experiences, ever.

  • The beginning makes me sad...

    And then it is awesome.

  • these dislikers thought its download button..

  • the people there disliked this song, don't not belive that humans can make so good music

  • man tears inc.

  • In all seriousness, who the hell dislikes this song?

  • Many that live deserve death. Some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death in judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

    So true !

  • отличная трилогия =) и музыка супер

  • “PIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.

GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.

    PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?

GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.

    GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.”

  • God... is that you?..

  • I thought this track was "The Breaking of the Fellowship", played at the end of the first movie?

  • best part 3:32

  • So beatiful mind that tolkien, howard and peter had/has.

This is beatiful art, that im so in deeply in love.

Cant thanks enough them how happy i was to see this awsome trilogy, this has taken a part of my soul and imagination. Thank-you. I hope our would be the same as that was.

Every fan. Love you and live long! Hobbit is in my mind at this moment ;)

  • the music is so good it makes me all sentimental :')

  • this makes me feel like i could take on the world :')

  • skyrim + song = best gaming moments of my life

  • The Hobbit was the first real book I ever read, then i read the lord of the rings in the next one and a half months, spending all my spare time reading. This was in fourth grade. I am now in eighth and have read the series twice since. These are truly the greatest books ever written. Rest In Peace J.R.R Tolkien

  • There is no better movie and books than this !! The Lord of the Rings FOREVER

  • So many memories :)

    Can't wait for The Hobbit!

    Wish there were more books!

    J.R.R. Tolkien R.I.P

  • @craziestmofo i did not knew that she was dead :'{

    R.I.P

  • @craziestmofo i did not knew that she was dead :'{

    R.I.P

  • @Lellenheart is he, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien and yeah is dead he born the

3 January 1892,you are confused for jk rowling the writer of harry potter saga (a woman), ¬¬

    sorry ofr my bad english

  • @verchelliezequiel lol a failed xD

  • @craziestmofo Read all his other books, then, and then apply to write a new sereis based upon LOTR, like I'm planning to.

  • @craziestmofo There are more books about the events in middle earth. But J.R.R Tolkien's son holds the copyright and does not want more movies to be made, for reasons I do not know. His son is nearly 90 years old and doesn't have many years left so when he passes his grandson may choose for more movies to be made :)

  • @SavageGRUK YAY

    may the tolkiens live on!

  • * The Hobbit

  • It saddens me that this trilogy was made a decade ago. Time sure flies. I still remember all the times I spent hyped up and waiting for them to come out. Nothing will ever be so magical as the first time I saw these films, forever changing my perspective on movies and literature. Hell, I'm gonna go dig up those DVDs and watch this epic again.

  • Its crazy to think this was released way back in 2001. I think of films from ten years ago, and reflect that they are beginning to show their age.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy doesn't have that effect.

Simply put, it is a timeless masterpiece of cinema; A triumph - That will resonate with millions, long after the people and the innovations that brought this classic to life have perished.

Damn...the song got me all sentimental again!

  • i've always prefered evil in movies, because they have cool stuff. but if i listen to this, i prefer the good side, this is so beautiful :D

  • Cant wait for the Hobbit movie to come :)

  • Everytime i hear this song i think of all the evilness in the world and what i can do to stop it. Lotr gives me hope.

  • Boromir was epic as Ned Stark :'(

  • this shit is so god-damn chill

sexually aroused to say the least

  • @SoMuchCamping ...?

  • toy story is shit

  • @sauron176 are you inbred?

  • @BomimoDK I find it disappointing that you have to resort to such immature remarks.

Clearly you must feel aggrieved that I do not share your opinion, however that is no reason to act like a five year old.

I feel resentment towards your ignorance.

    Sauron176.

  • @sauron176 Rich from a guy who started with expressing an immature opinion in an immature way. Profane AND no elaboration. What kind fo responses do you expect from that shithead? This is youtube. GTFO nub.

  • I wish Bethesta would make a Lord of the Rings game! Like they made Skyrim. All the details, the big land of Middle Earth, being able to explore EVERY PLACE on the map. Just picture it, Fangorn Forest, Gondor, Rohan, Hobbiton, the Falls of Rauros, Lorien, Moria... Even Mordor, perhaps! Heh, I'd really like to see what Lorien would be like, all the elves. Awesome. DEAR SANTA<333

  • No, it's 3:34 .

  • only justin bieber can dislike dis

  • Bilbo the old chicks-terminator.

  • Screw Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings is the best movie series of all time!

  • @StarryRhythm43 harry potters not even in contention im suprised you even suggested it the best series is either lord of the rings or toy story i would say the godfather but number 3 isnt as good as the other 2

  • @guitarreilly Wait... Did you just compare toy story with THE LORD OF THE RINGS!? ... or were you joking, perhaps? ...I truly hope so. Or maybe you haven't read the books, seen the movies over and over again, crying every time at the end of Return of the King. Well, I can't blame someone for having opinions, but... really? toy story? (Notice how I don't use capotal letters for that)

  • @timewasteland definately not joking about toy story it was voted best trilogy of all time i know you cant compare the two in terms of genre but it equals lord of the rings for shore yes i know the music in lord of the rings is far better but seriously toy story is fucking amazing

  • @guitarreilly I'm afraid I really don't understand how it can be voted to be that. First of all, the CONCEPT of Lord of the Rings is just stunning, it's perfect. So much detail, so much fact behind everything Tolkien created. Just think of it, he, a single person and his mind, spent years to study different languages (both dead and new ones) to create his own. Not only one though, but many, for each race in his story. It's a world. Unbelievable. It's actually hard realizing it's not even real.

  • @guitarreilly I dont know who said that, but those people truly have no idea what they're talking about. Now this it's not only just a matter of personal opinion, but understanding. To understand the work and effort, the talent and creativity of ONE man's mind, to create such a beautiful and detailed world as Middle Earth. Sure, toy story is pretty cool, it's fun to watch and keeps you entertained for the moment. LotR makes you dream, cry, hope and live. Lord of the Rings stays with you forever.

  • @timewasteland So does Toy Story. If it didn't make you feel that way, doesn't mean the trilogy is inferior to LoTR. What I call bullshit is you thinking that just because LoTR is incredibly made the way it is, it MUST BE superior to Toy Story. Bullshit. A movie doesn't need to be 100% creative to be good, and bring all types of emotion. Toy Story does that beautifully, TS3 the most. Just because you don't understand it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

  • @timewasteland it was some official thing it was voted the best trilogy but cmon man toy story is not some mere entertaining movie the story and characters are far beyond that it has grown men crying and laughing aswell as makin children laugh and cry they are both awsome in their own right

  • @guitarreilly Well yeah... I guess I overreacted a little and only wrote from my own perspective, and shouldn't have done that, since it wasn't really based on any facts or anything.

And heh, as Eowyn said in Return of the King... "I am no man."

Sorry I just thought that fit :D

  • When i hear this song , i just think at Lord of the rings and how great it is :)

  • JUST PERFECT

  • The music made these movies from great to epic.

  • i spend my life trying to see the tree movies , but i didn't :/

  • @NasserBerr I don't wanna live on this planet anymore ... - _ - "

  • It's more than just a movie.

  • 211 people haven't music stil !

  • Lyk dis if yuo cry evertim!

  • I would do a "Thumbs up if you just watched the trilogy again!" comment but that would be whorish and unoriginal

  • Boromir gave his life to save someone he so greatly despised. RIP.

  • @Strava124 He is the real hero of the trilogy. Pourin' one out for one's homie.

  • @Strava124 go star wars

  • @Strava124 It's kind of like he despised him at first ("Gondor needs no king"), then slowly started to see Aragorn as an equal ("For the lords of Gondor have returned") then, at the end, finally respected him as his leader ("my captain, my king").

  • @Strava124 You couldn't be more wrong(n)

I never despised Frodo...Or Sam.. or any of the Fellowship.. The ring drove him mad.. therefore if you think about it... Borimor died long before he was shot by Lurtz (y)

    It's a week well spent.

  • 3:37 best part of da music

  • The Road Goes Ever On- that is actually such an epic saying

  • LOTR is the king of fantasy-movie because of music.

PSYCHO is the king of horror-movie because of music.

  • There's some good in this world Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fight for it.

  • @Balmung35 Some. But not much.

  • This is why the Lord of the Ring is awesome !

  • The LOTR is so epic. I can't actually describe how it makes me feel and how awesome it is. To put it briefly, it is a master piece.

  • Ah this music never fails to make me :)

  • timeless... (:

  • @EMOtions12 "Don't think of Middle-Earth as a fanatasy, don't think of a a long gone story that never actually happened. Just know that Middle-Earth existed, and still exists, and your watching it now." -Ian McKellen (Gandalf the White)

  • 4:56 is dumbldore falling off the astronomy tower

  • i remember this, first movie which i ever watched in a cinema, when i was only 3 years old... good old times
