are they have also engine trouble shooting ? my engine do klang klang klang with roto start it gets going but takes time and the engine sound very inregular and shuts of sometimes tuning not helps much it seems but tuning im a noob at -_-
@otrebogad82 its because your throttle closes when you brake. take your air filter off and look at your carborater. now go and press brake you will see your throttle closes leaving no gap. you need to open it by turning idle screw clockwise until you see a about 2mm gap.
@HPIracing543 Every time i start my savage it cuts off almost immediately. It worked perfectly when I took it to the hobby shop, but it didn't work when I brought it home. What's wrong with it?
thats weird how u can tune it perfectly but i cant. every time i rev it after tuning my engine starts to stutter and bog down even after i just did 1/8th of a turn i did from base settings :(
@jack4373 i agree, 250 to 300 is right around you want to be. also depending the weather might affect how your engine temperature. people who run 200 to 210 degrees is running to rich which you will lose performance in time. i was telling this to some douchebag on youtube whos running 200 to 210 degrees. also people, run 20 percent fuel dont go over board, running 25 to 30 % fuck up your engine, im sure it give you more power but in time for how long?
look at the stuff on it, the fuel tank is a .21 tank it has a primer, i know my 25 has a little more torque than that! I was just stating an observation
First make sure your carb is closed. This is not always a radio setting, so check the mechanical parts/linkage. If those are ok and the carb is closed, try adjusting your idle. This needle determines the engines idle rpm.
4 Years ago, it happened to me that the linkage was not connected to the carb and it went full-rpm at starting. But I was still a newb back then :P
i have been trying to get my savage ss 25 to work but when i get it on it just races and i cant stop it it just rev uncontrolled what is going on wat are the bas settings for the nitro star s-25???
unfortunately, i dont have a nitro... but i think it would be nice to get into for a little more durability and challenge for keeping it upkept. considering i just turned 14 a week ago, i am still trying to get a job...

any one else notice this is a .21 not a .25??
also the factory settings for the .25 are flush on both needles according to the manual
kiddo6921 2 years ago
@kiddo6921
Why do you think it's a .21? It looks exactly like the engine that came with my savage 25?

For an s-25 setup, stock settings are (From CLOSED)
HSN 4 and a half turns out
LSN 3 turns out.
It took me donkeys to find that info, I looked everywhere when I slapped an S-25 into my MT2 G3.0 -.-'
Have fun ;)
