Wait! What's this about training during the winter in the cold? I'm not much for cold.....I HATE IT!! I live in the Northeast US and it's ALWAYS COLD up here in the winter. I thought Florida stayed temperate. It doesn't? Thanks for the encouragement, by the way! I would have a lot of work to do, though. I'd need to lose a couple pounds and get back in shape! :)

yes its in the cold training. The water is always 72 degrees but man when you get out you are freezing. Its a lot of fun though. I wouldnt have traded it for anything. Training during the winter is so worth it. Like its a lot of fun and all the training did pay off. I absolutely love it.

If you want to be a Weeki Wachee mermaid that badly then go for it. Dont let anything stop you. Just make sure you have enough passion for it to train over the winter. Getting in and out of the water. Because even over the winter we do shows. So you have to have the passion to be able to get in and out of the water during the winter.

It is called an Air hose. air is forced through the hose by a air compressor. There is a valve that they controll with their fingers to adjust the flow of air so they don't take too much. This is very dangerous too!
