Well in WWII my great-grandfather was captured and then when in a truck a bomb went off and he got out but died later on. (i dont know if its true just what my grandpa says)

As Terry says 'Think about all the other Dad's that have died.' I know probably nothing can mend that hole in your life, but someone cares and doesn't just say 'Huh, that guys lost a family member. I always remember profoundly those who died in WW1 and 2 and the Korean War but I also think about the sham wars that have been foisted on us like Vietnam, Iraq 2 and Afghanistan. Along with "Never Forget", the motto of Nov. 11 is "Never Again" yet our politicians and the political right seem to forget that when they send out millions more boys to be slaughtered in far away lands over stupid things like oil profits and arrogant nationalism. They should all hang their heads in shame.
