  • How can you take someone's carefully calculated piece and decide to make it better by "speeding it up"?

I'm sorry, but you have taken away the spirit of this work. I'm not impressed by the impatience of people who can't watch something as it is intended.

  • @trishthestalker I'm sorry to say, but I don't see a "carfully calculated piece". This thing chrashed 2 times in the first hour, maybe he should have taken some math-classes so he COULD calculate it right.

This is just a room full of stuff rotating. Period.

  • this is Total Bullshit.meaningless.

  • the song is Laisse Tomber Les Filles by France Gall, written by Serge Gainsbourg

  • Yep, and it's mentioned to the right, when you click on (more info)

  • Sorry great song - how is it called????

    Its fantastic

  • @pjoeng Laisse tombe les filles, by April March

  • @pjoeng laisse tomber les filles by France Gall

  • i think its a way of showing us how our apparently tidy lives can breed chaos, the potential chaos of our lives.

  • If something is interesting and amusing, without having utility, that pretty much leaves it in the domain of art.:)

  • Haha, you hit it on the spot ;)

  • Art? No. Interesting? Yeah.

  • this is "happening" ..its a "new trend"..this is on books of art history..so it's art. (see it in the right speed)

  • I initially thought that the rotation speed was too slow, it didn't satisfy that visceral need for dynamic destruction quickly enough. But after watching the whole original again in comparison to this, I think the original speed is fine - it's just a different point. Being slower, it introduces much more suspense and tension; it's never clear just when the next moment friction will lose its battle to gravity and another mass of objects will come tumbling down. I like that fact.

  • no need for a soundtrack, but i appreciate the sped up version in its own way. : )

  • Wow. You've certainly raised the bar on art crit.

  • @decadyne

Art Critics are just tics on a bloated system of grown adults trying to fool the world into thinking they are special.

Perfection is special. Spectacle is the disease of a world short on art but long on con artists.

  • It's funnier slow...

  • oo, I feel ashamed, but I have to ask .... whats the music track ? and YES this speed is much better :-)

  • The song is called "Laisse tomber les filles" by France Gall (it is in the description to the right ;)

  • yes, the clicky thing that pulls down the description, I should have thought of that, but I was soo mesmerized by your video I couldn't think straight :-)

    Thanks for the info

  • you problably know it as "chick habit" by FrenchFranck used in Deathproof., but this is a version where they sing in french. It could be the original.
