nadia fierce ! nelli's landing were big fat mistakes, it's very clearly to see those big FAT mistakes,come on now nadia floor routine is better and stronger ,Nelli kim landed so hard that she almost put hole on the floor , hands up for the queen of gymnastics NADIA!

@ahrensgay How could she score so highly with such obvious errors; after her double twist she takes a deep lunging step backwards, and on the doubleback dismount she landed very deeply indeed. Nadia was definitely cheated out of a sole gold medal, she should never have had to share first place with Nelli:(

Seriously her compulsory floor routine would bring a tear to a glass eye; its so beautiful, moving, and downright perfect; 9.95? hmmm its controversial. The ONLY area for deduction I can see is on 0.27 she doesnt quite hit a full split on her split jump following the back handspring, but thats being nitpicky. Every other split position is taken to the maximum amplitude. Breathtakingly exquisitely beautiful. Young gymnasts, take note;)

Nelli kim was far better than Nadia. She was technically better and way more female movements as meant to be in gymnastics. The Sovjets had a hard time in cold war sports. But still they were soooooo the best.

It's such a joy to watch Nadia perform her compulsaries. It was exquisite, and most of all perfect. Loved her final pose with such command. She should have won this event outright.

Does anyone have video of Yelena Davydova's compulsory FX? She scored a 9.80. That is the reason she was not in the finals even though her optional routine is one of the most captivating and spectacular of all time. Natalia Shaposhnikova and Nelli Kim qualified for the final with a 9.925. Davydova's carry over score was 9.900. I think it was absurd that she wasn't in the finals.

Nadia was better than Kim! Kim was good but she made some small mistakes. She was lucky to compete in Moskow!
