I built one around the same time, with better CPU (i7 950) and better storage (intel SSD with 1Tb RAID 0 array) for about £1000?

PSU is totaly overpowered, and you're unlikely to have needed such a high-end motherboard considering your other components :\

BUT if u want full HD, no lag and quick loading times choose a gaming pc. i bought fallout new vegas for my ps3. loading times were huge and any time you went up into a built up area it got a bit glitchy. still though i agree i spent 1550 euro on my gaming pc this christmas. my spec as follows

- antec 1200

- core i7 950

- 6gig RAM

- ATI 5850

- blue ray burner

- one terra 7200 rpm hard drive
