  • Or maybe a inverted offset dish will resolve the problem, depending on the latitude.

  • Rain-X...or Silicone spray, cheaper

  • @poolmanishere agree, but will not last as long.

  • WTF I DINT GET IT.....

  • This video is useless. The only problem in the rain with an offset dish are the rain drops on lnb. Maybe this treatment is good for snow. Snow will not stick to the dish.

If there is a rain drop on the lnb feddhorn, the signal decrease a lot. The solution is a cover for lnb, or a PFA ( prime focus antenna ) who will not have this problem.

  • is it because the dish is getting grounded by the water connecting it to the earth??

  • @boxa888 Its because each little beadlet of water deflects the signal, so instead of the signal being focused and consentrated into the LNB, a lot of signal never makes into the LNB. Instead the signal reflects off the dish into nothing!

  • I have no idea why that would work... lol but if it works it works
