All singers today should queue and worship the altar of Aretha. I think this is still early to say Ree's voice is damaged enough to make a difference. In other words, the rasp wasn't a problem yet to my mind. Today, I think the high end is tattered, but then she could still work with it. Her low end remains, to this day, amazing. Just my opinion.

This is perhaps the best interview Aretha has done to date. She was relax, at home and felt very comfortable w/ Donnie. True fans know Aretha expresses herself best when she's at the piano! If you were fortunate to see this hour long interview which aired March 1994, you would agree that it was a special and rare treat for all of the Queens fans! Yaskam thanks for posting!
