@redblade0 No, keep in mind that it's not gimmicky if it works. For example, the Wii (w/o MotionPlus) has bad motion control, it was just created as a gimmick (gimmick because it doesnt work). Another example is the PS3's Sixaxis. Not the best, more oof a gimmick. But this uses powerful motion sensing, processors, cameras, graphics, two analog sticks, and more. Whereas the 3ds has a sucky dpad/analog stick, and 3d that doesn't work that well for a lot of people.

@redblade0 Well, first of all, I said Wii's motion controls don't work that accurate WITHOUT Wii MotionPlus. It improves the accuracy, but keep in mind that if Nintendo wasn't doing it for money making reasons, they wouldn't have made it cheap and would have made it work the way it shoud have upon release. The most accurate thing about the old controls was that in WiiSport's baseball, when you tilt the controller, the bat tilts too. Everything else is inaccurate or gimmicky.

@redblade0 In Twilight Princess, combat wwas simply swinging the remote around (you could do that with the bad Sixaxis controls!). And remember Super Smash Bros Brawl? How lame is it that you just hit buttons instead of swing the sword around? Also, the Vita's touch pad works about as well as an iPad's. Not like on a ds where you have to push down hard with a stylus, Vita's is sensitive. Also, anything that is high gloss (the top of some laptops, tablets, some phones, the Wii) all

@redblade0 gather dust and fingerprints equally as bad as a Vita. My PS3 is covered in it, as was my wii when I had it, and my iPod, and so on. Yes, I did mention only the Wii's motion controls. I apologize, I ran out of room. The Move works about as well as the Wii did before motionplus, but I personally don't really have a need for motion controls, and I don't really like them. Most HARDCORE gamers feel the same way. And I'm not sure which memory cards you're referring to.

@redblade0 The PSP's memory cards use SD cards, as does the WII for extra memory. They actually do work, seeing as how some can store up massive amounts of data (i saw one for 100 gigs). The PS2's memory cards also worked just fine, as do external PS3 memory cards, which are now not necessary, having like over 250 gigs for the same price as a Wii at its launch price. The PSP's UMDs actually did work great, they provided visual and audio quality on par, and often better (Peace Walker)

@midnightapalooza Yeah this is the same IGN which said the Vita would sell like hotcakes whilst the 3DS would crash and burn. The 3DS has broken records in JAPAN and the Vita can't do a 1/4 of the "bad sales" of the 3DS and it's out of 10. In the same amount of time of time in the country the 3DS is destroying the Vita. So IGN is hardly the best place to go too. Also "revitalize" the handheld business? Yeah I'm pretty sure the DS did that.

And yes the DS did revitalize the handheld buisness. But, that was like six years ago. Nintendo just added a camera, then made it smaller, then bigger, then added 3d and augmented reality, along with smal features as well. Look up other reviews, they almost all agree with me.

And how much better can the graphics get? That's the real worry for Sony, they need to convince people to make the jump. But at the end of the day if wasn't for competition we would still probably be playing 8 bit games in arcades.

The worst thing was I was actually hyped for the PSV and I was going to get one until I saw it after release. It seems like one of those devices which seems good but just isn't any fun. Also I was also surprised by the lackluster software Golf really?

@fandrawerNgundam You can, but keep in mind that you need one Memory Card PER account. What this means is, if you want multiple PSN accounts, you have to buy a Memory Card for each and every one of them, and then read online on the process to reset your Vita's PSN Memory and swap the cards out.

Also, keep in mind that any PSN Store will probably not be updated with the Vita content as well as the Japanese one will.
