  • I seriously wish that they could make a 3D remake of this. Same music, same characters, same story. A way for the kids of today to feel what we felt. The way we watched Will and Kara fall in love. The way Eric matured as they traveled. The way Lance was able to put his life back together. The way Seth came through for the group, even after what had happened to him. All of the sadness, and all of the happiness. From South Cape to The Comet. There's so much wonder that kid's today will miss...

  • Where's the endless loop button on this thing? I could listen to this forever and never tire of it.

  • Illusion of Gaia is and forever will be the greatest video game ever. Modestly. It was way ahead of its time then, and I feel it still would be now. You would have to live it.

  • i have to take this game back for my new SNES system... i miss it so much...

  • There will never be another game like this, maybe cause i ll never be a child anymore! Lots of memories...

  • This song has a rare effect: it makes me sad and happy at the same time.

  • It's very relaxing to me. ^_^ I remember beating this game in a week cuz I had chicken pox, but I'd end up passing out with this in the background A LOT.

  • You know what this song needs? A live performance with chorus.

  • It's beautiful yes, but crying about it, or to it, is way overdoing it. Could however fall asleep to it.

  • i`ve eat some magic mushrooms with some friends,

after a few minutes i put this song in the player,

we`ve heard it and cried like babies

  • In a perfect world, everyone that feels nostalgia for this song would get together and do some mushrooms. The conversations and subsequent friendships would be fucking profound.

  • When I couldn't sleep I would turn on the snes and let this track play.Worked every time.Great piece..oh and great game also.

  • crazy? ok hardly lol. at 14 after losing my mother i remember getting my boombox and putting a metallica tape (ride the lightning) in and recording this song over it out of the speakers in my tv. then taking it on the bus to school and listening to it. crazy? yeah but i dont care what they (my friends who made fun of me for listening to it) think this hit me more than any metallica song did.

  • @oletreece

It's not crazy. This game invokes that feeling. I'm 17, and I still cry when that damn pig dies! :'(

  • Here we go, flying off to face the comet. Such fond memories.

  • this song makes me think about all the fun times i have had with my friends and the sadness that would come if i saw them all killed in front of my eyes without me being able to do anything about it... /cry

  • This song ALWAYS gets a lump in my throat...

a tear rolling down my cheek...

Just hear the longing... the wanting and desperation in the song...

even though it is simple, it's so beautiful... so epic...

You have to have a heart of stone and eyes of rock NOT to at least shed a tear to this amazing piece

  • this song...makes me think of what it might be like to die in the arms of your loved one, after you save them from something that couldnt be avoided.

  • such a sweet tune ^_^

  • This song drenches my vagina.

  • @JahRasta311 ...thanks for a sleepless night.

  • if my friends hear this music, they hate it

    I dont know why........

I need to think of all the sad things i met.

    Will: the special boy.

    Freedan:the dark knight.

    Shadow:the dark shade.

    TB

  • This and when they are out at sea makes me think and alot of times makes me sad remembering friends and family that are gone. IT IS A GIFT INDEED WHEN YOU CAN MAKE EMOTIONS COME OUT OF PEOPLE THROUGH MUSIC OR SONG. Thank You soooooo much DALLASJRIGN you will never know how much this song is IN MY HEART.

  • This is such a wonderful composition I used to just let the game play this music over and over and over again. It has such a beautiful sound. Am I crazy for doing such a thing?

  • 1 year ago i also commented on this video

the earthen womb keeps attracting me...

  • I was Just a child when I played at this :(. I remember i cried when I finished it.

    I love this game T_T

  • Nostalgic is a great word describing this song.

  • I love this game, I think I'm gona cry... In my country the game was called ''Illusion of Time''. This is the best SNES action game, and I think it's better LoZ LTTP, because of 1, the music, and because of 2, the story.

  • its such a bummer theres no real sequal to the story.

Dark gaia was a recurring boss in the series [Deathtoll in soulblazer, Dark gaia in terranigma] Altough the 3 games have no real timeline. Its just a plot device i think modern day gamers could really get hooked into.

  • AAAAHHH!!! my favorite one!!

  • actually come to think of it this is when Will finds out his father has actually died one of the saddest moments in the game in my opinion just to find out he went all that way to find out his dad has died. but also to put there for the survival of the world

  • this game is soooo nostalgic for me and the replay value was superb I always played it just for the soundtrack and this amongst the great wall of china level in this game is one of my 2 fav songs this game will live on forever I love it to death!

  • I did not know this many people've played this game haha

  • It's such a beautifully simplistic song and conveys so many emotions all at once. Video game music is not appreciated nearly as much as it should be.

  • This is almost dangerously emotional in a nostalgic sense. I'm at the border of falling apart, not many songs can match this one. Great game.

  • why is it this song has the uncanny ability to make me turn into a nostalgic weepy bitch. God damn it.

  • The magic of music.

  • This song is Epic.

Now i feel fukin sad, i want to cry.

    This is all my childhood...

  • @humby123 Don't worry homes, we'll weep together.

  • when i was studying astronomy for science this song immediately came to mind for no apparent reason..

  • You too, huh? Man, I thought I was the only one. (whew) LOL

  • This song makes me want to dust off my snes and play Illusion of Gaia again.

An excellent RPG, but nowhere near the best on the SNES. the SNES was too full of great RPGs.

  • they should make a new 3 D game of this:D

  • someone might mess it up by putting electric guitar on this to make it"cool"

  • now i want to play that game again... god damn i love that song T.T

  • they should make a movie based on this game

  • @EricKZhang

Amazing and beautiful movies that can be done from videogames: Mother series, Terranigma and this.

  • @teritriano

well the thing is asides from japan most the those games are seldom known in north america and other prominent countries.. most people would probably be like WTF when find a movie based on a game that has been oblivious from public knowledge for 10 years, thats gonna suck for the company providing money for the production of the film.. lol

  • @EricKZhang

I think that isn't necessary for the people know that the movies are based in the games. Could be nice movies. Just my opinion.

  • yeah it was never meant to be a happy song it's a very depressing sad song but you can't help but love it you know

  • i think its the best soundtrack of the snes it makes my feel sad inside yet also it gives my hope

  • i love this song i feel so sad
