  • it is so good to see him giving his all it is just as good a the records not like the ones today that have all the flash and lights to distract you while they try to sing like the recordings that were fix by digital effects.

  • REAL COUNTRY

  • Ah yes, REAL country. But damn Conway, that white guy afro!

  • Conway and Loretta will always be the best couple to ever sing in country music. Conway had the greatest and smoothest voice of all time.

  • i love Conway. The sound of his voice made panties fall off!!!

  • im only 26 years old and ive been listening to this since 89 this is great

  • This is a good version, however; the 1982 Grammys performance is as good as it gets; he was introduced to the stage by Tammy Wynette. The video used to be on You Tube, but it was taken down for some reason. I have the audio of it but not the video. An awesome performance by Conway.

  • Reminds me of my childhood! Great song;)

  • @lynelizabeth29 hmm...

  • Still one of the best :)

  • F*ck Family guy and Seth Macfarlane..

    ..Conway Twitty is awesome! :')

  • Conway Fuckin' Twitty! Think I'd rather go to a mexican chicken fight off a dirt road somewhere.

  • LOVE Conway Twitty! I wish he was still here. He sounds like he'd be AMAZING to see!

  • @guitarbrittany31 You have no idea just how awesome he was to see live. He did not rely on the smoke and mirrors he just sang and growled!! -

  • @edwolfe1950 It's a bummer for me, cause I am a fan of the older country, Johnny Cash, Conway, Willie, and most of them are gone so I won't ever be able to see them.. I HOPE I will be able to see Loretta before. She's my fav gal besides Reba... I wonder if Loretta still does concerts?/

  • @guitarbrittany31 I don't think Loretta preforms much. Her health isn't good right now. She still does make it to the Grand Ole Opry some. Good luck. Willie for sure still preforms - As does Don Williams, who is pretty good too. ENJOY em while you can!

  • @edwolfe1950 Willie Nelson I've seen he was amazing.. That too bad bout Loretta. She's my fav gal besides Reba like I just said.. It would be nice to get to their concerts, but I'll have to wait and see if they come to a town near where I live.. Hopefully be able to see them .. I Don Williams has a lots of good songs

  • I like this cause he responds to the othere song/ the girl version, so sexy

  • OY VEY I love Conway Twitty & miss him so much!

  • Who has a slower hand--Conway Twitty or Eric Clapton?

  • I agree with the post beneath mine.

Conway is and was Mr. Country!

I'm sure he's singing in heaven!

  • I am only 31, but to this day I still love Conway Twitty. This is when country music was country music. I love it!

  • awwww man, brings back memories

  • i love how no one has disliked this!!!

  • you know as a youngster i thought that it was torcher that my mom listen to this type of music all the time... so of course we had to listen to it.... not knowing the value and greatness of it at the time.now i LOVE this stuff....thanks mom for all that you have done and still do for me.

  • Not very many songs make the very unlikely leap from pop to country. So who tookk this song from No. 3 on the pop charts to number 1 on the country charts?. The surprisng challenger is not only a country legend but he's also always around to help out Peter Griffin whenever he needs a distraction from his latest idiotic shenanigans. Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen - Mr. Conway Twitty!

  • Regarding the comment of 53Chevy53: this song is all sex. It's a good one to remember. I also like "Bleed Red" sung by Ronnie Dunn.

  • This is when the Stars respected that the fans* put them* and their music where it was at and made them famous and rich too.So they were respected and treated with respect back.

  • Sexiest voice ever !

  • Man, just think these were the days before editing voices. His voice is just plain amazing without fancy computers, gone are the days. It's just to bad it wasn't my days. Another thing, this song does have a sexual meaning too it, and he has that in there without saying crude things like you hear on the rap stations. I hate that stuff, its not classy at all. Now this is a man.

  • Man, just think these were the days before editing voices. His voice is just plain amazing without fancy computers, gone are the days. It's just to bad it wasn't my days.

  • Ladies and gentlemen.. mr conway twitty... family guy

  • WOW! love it.you guys who don't appreciate Conway, nobody's holding a gun on you. Go somewhere else!

  • Ladies and Gentlemen..Behold the first real pimp.

  • All of you think "Family Guy" is making fun of Mr. Twitty? Someone there must be a fan and know that THIS is real music. Rocking version of this classic tune.

  • The best of Twitty! Love the way he Emphasizes in this concert.

  • Brilliant!!! This is better than the original.

  • Another one of his greatest hits. He had one of the most sexiest voices. My late wife loved his music.

  • OMG!!!! Great voice

  • you are the best! from italy

  • yes! <3

  • @outbackredd. As I was saying, Kevin Costner being rejected by genre cowboy-lovers for his "Dances With Wolves" and Wyatt Earp (Really "Earp" was the first movie that cut through all the lies of the last 80-yrs. concerning, not the Gun Fight at the O.K. Coral, but the life's 'trail' that made Wyatt what he became also dispelled the decades-old flimsey lie that he and his band of brothers (including Doc Holiday)were "pro-southern". Everyone knows that country music took-off with Charley Pride!

  • @outbackredd. What have I done that's so great? Why the greatest thing that never gets respect in this country: Being an overwrought tax payer, just like your insignificant self. Otherwise, if you considered what I've said, this mega hit was no more a part of his country music repotoire than Charlie Rich's. and "southern gentleman" and "comfort"? With all due respect, the latter's male audience merely tolerated his neo-R&B style, as much I suppose as the good ol' boys detested Kevin Costner!

  • Yes, "The Siver Fox", otherwise known as Charlie Rich. At the time, the majority of staid, white Southerners rejected the rock-a-billy innovations that coutry\western\blue-grass artists were transitioning to. They perfered "tradition"!, ala "Hee Haw" and Merle Haggard. These were your papas and grandpas who considered a white-collar worker from Atlanta a fag Northerner (ala John Travolta's "Urban Cowboy"). So cheer up. Imagine that they would've lynched Billy Ray Cyrus for Achey Breakey...!

  • C'mon kittys, be kind. The audience present are not prudes or gnomes. They're just your garden variety southern-fried, gun-totin', Elkie, white-bred crackers. This song "Slow Hand", while it's coming out of the mouth of another cracker is not the usual musical fare his audience is used to. And neither am I. I'm sure Twitty is beloved by many an is a gregarious sort. But I get the sense that he didn't write this song any more than "The Silver Fox" wrote "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World".

  • One of my favorites from this great country star.

  • One of my favorite's of all time...CONWAAAAYYY!!!

  • for "some one"

  • Dedicated to a guy on Youtube this is for you and the "Battleship" and DUKE over UCON every time. :)

  • still waiting for this one on family guy,

  • @u2bzane I think of this song whenever they do that

  • It's about time for a big name artist to do a re-make of this song. LeAnn Rimes? Reba? Maybe even Blake Shelton. Mariah Carey could make do an amazing cover of this Conway/Pointer Sister's classic.

  • I remember being about 5 or 6 and they had a best hits tape thing for him and I was soooo sad because he was already dead! Still my fave singer after all these years. (24 now)

  • First, this was at an awards show. You respond on cue. DUggggggggggg. 2Nd Mr Twitty or as we that knew him, Mr Jenkins, was a first rate performer and gentleman.

  • Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Conway Twitty!

  • is he really on stage? by the way the people are acting, its like hes not really there

  • 1. people wanted to hear the artist and the music.

2.look how they are dressed up--respect.

    3 generational differences---look them up

    LOVED---SOUTHERN COMFORT album

  • rip conway.

  • Sheesh. The way all those people sat there stony-faced; expressionless... That's how people were at concerts in communist East Germany.

  • notice how everyone in the audience are fucking prudes... they hear the lyrics.... but at that time no one could appear to approve of such controversy. so they just sit there and pretend its a baptist hymnal... lol it's hilarious.
