She sounds like Beyonce if you de-aged her voice and performance abillity by about 6 or 7 years, present day Bee would sing circles around her. She potential is there though.
I've seen them both live in concert on the I Am Tour, and vocally its not even a competition to be honest. Beyonce has always lightened her voice on her records to make her sound more pop friendly, but live she has a much more powerful voice, a more matured tone, and her vocal skillset is miles beyond Lyns. That's not a diss towards her at all though, Beyonce's at least 5 years older and she's been in the game for 12 years longer, its to be expected. Shes on par with Beyonce circa 1999 vocally.

The RichGirlFan 2009 sent me replies that are not showing claiming that I didn't think Audra was doing a good enough job because she didn't act Black and the other girls are "2 Urban" to do pop music and they need Audra to cross over. I didn't not like her racist comments & pointed out 2 her other females of other races that could bring better stage presence, persona and showmanship & that race has nothing to with swagger. for ex Nobody was bringing more swagger than Britney in her slave 4u vid
Maybe it wont matter if they get a hit. Maybe she will do better if she has a long long long long time to work with the other girls to get on their level. Maybe she get a pass because she looks like Alicia Keys with a sic body. Why waste anymore time then theyve already had together hanging on to maybes when they can give her a solo deal and replace her position in the group with that missing link that will make the best RichGirl conceivable.
Also the Audra is not the only group member that worked hard. Its not the Audra Show the group is called RichGirl. There are 3 other talented girls with their own story who deserve to take this opportunity as high as they can get it. Audra can be confident, sweet, blah blah blah but if she is the cause of the group feeling non-authentic she should shift to an area better suited for her abilities.
Diversity is a little icing that you can appreciate not a deal breaker. Its not that serious and not a good enough excuse to push this when on stage there is a total lack of synergy.
This group cant ride on being like groups in the past. The bar is so much higher right now. They have to either have group chemistry or hide the fact that they dont or they wont be able to keep peoples interest long enough.

Even better Rich should grab Audra, her sister from another mother Vanessa Hudgens and Christina Debarge and make them a Trio. They are more on the same page in terms of energy and delivery. They would go for a more pop sound and are all stunning brunettes with each having their own fanbase. RichGirl's material is too gritty and fierce and Audra is a lot of things but fierce is just not one of them. She stands out too much so she can't play the background or the "weaker" member.
Its funny that u make these comments about Audra not being gritty enough for the group. 24 & HAWMN is only 2 songs. They have alot of songs thats VERY-VERY pop. Rich Girl is not the vehicle for her gifts & she keeps them down hanging on. Not being able to dance & not being able to sell it are two different things. Aundrea had lots of energy & was an excellent fit w/ DK even if she took longer to learn routines. By the time DK hit the stage you didn't even notice it. Audra is not plain jane forgettable like Michelle is. Audra is pretty, she stands out and she does have an energy so you look at her and you notice how off she is with this group like a square peg in a round hole. Audra can't sell "He an't with me now though"

Its not hate... didn't feel like writing the long version of what I feel watching them. I think she's in the group because she pretty with a voice but its a forced fit not a good fit. She'd be better in a PCD type group or solo. She does not have the swagger to rock the type of music this group is putting out. I watched them perform at BB kings 8/31 in NY and she was just so lacklustre like she didn't want to be there

The other girls were killing them selves working to bring the energy up working bout 110% while she was working at about 50%. It comes of as she using them as a vehicle to boost her real idea of what she wants her career to be. She comes off as if she's not feeling the material and is just doing her job. ITA she's nice. I just get frustrated watching cause I wanted Rich Girl to do well and her coming short makes the whole group look like a thrown together basket instead of a forward moving unit. You mentioning her having money just confirmed what I figured out just watching her.
the truth is- is if you look at other performances- no AUDRA can not dance. I've seen them both live in concert on the I Am Tour, and vocally its not even a competition to be honest. Beyonce has always lightened her voice on her records to make her sound more pop friendly, but live she has a much more powerful voice, a more matured tone, and her vocal skillset is miles beyond Lyns. That's not a diss towards her at all though, Beyonce's at least 5 years older and she's been in the game for 12 years longer, its to be expected. Shes on par with Beyonce circa 1999 vocally.

There are 3 other talented girls with their own story who deserve to take this opportunity as high as they can get it. Even better Rich should grab Audra, her sister from another mother Vanessa Hudgens and Christina Debarge and make them a Trio. They are more on the same page in terms of energy and delivery. They would go for a more pop sound and are all stunning brunettes with each having their own fanbase. RichGirl's material is too gritty and fierce and Audra is a lot of things but fierce is just not one of them. She stands out too much so she can't play the background or the "weaker" member.

Not being able to dance & not being able to sell it are two different things. Aundrea had lots of energy & was an excellent fit w/ DK even if she took longer to learn routines. By the time DK hit the stage you didn't even notice it. Audra is not plain jane forgettable like Michelle is. Audra is pretty, she stands out and she does have an energy so you look at her and you notice how off she is with this group like a square peg in a round hole. People be hating on Audra...she got more money than the rest of the them lol...she holds down the deeper part and none of them are hype. They just need a better choreographer and they're be better. Im a fan, not a hater
