he wasnt aware it was even in his hand for about a year and a half. he obviously knew he got show, but it had imbedded itself deep in his hand. He noticed it was in his hand when his hand started naturally rejecting it and started pushing it out towards the surface. The doc also mentioned that he didnt see it necessary to seal the hand because it was a small incision that would close on its own.. it took about two weeks to fully heal

To be fair to him folks, once it festers up like it did, the entire area around it is raw to the touch. I had a sliver imbed between the tendons in my hand. Two days later it hurt way worse than it did going in. His was gnarly.
