Dude all of their songs are sooooo good. I hear a bit of people say UnderOath is overrated. And yeah they're not the most talented when it comes to playing their instruments but they are pretty talented in writing as many good songs as they have. Most band write like 10 good songs. But I can't think of one song by UnderOath I don't like. And if anything, with their fan count being pretty high, I still think they're underrated.

Further research on google only finds websites that have the exact same information as Wikipedia, with no sources cited. I am afraid that may only be a rumor. It's not on the band's MySpace.

I personally like Spencer on Define the Great Line the best. His technique changes from CD to CD but he just has so many dynamics and I really like the way he intensely sings and all the little nuances - they're hard to hear but they make the songs on the CD.

totally agree dude...he owns in every UO album, though, i gotta say that imo he rules more in define the great line... but his performance is just incredible...he goes through screaming to singing (and vice-versa) so wonderfully that it amazes me every time i hear any of their songs...spencer fucking rulez, beast screamer ever, 4 sure =D

dallas' lyrics were for the most part..really stupid and immature. his vocals were horrible as well..one range he stayed in the whole time..and he wasn't good live.

they're only chasing safety is great...but is generic in the screamo sense. although it is the best screamo album ever.

define and lost are both cd's that have never been done before..they created their own genre

I completely agree. I hate dallas' voice, and cries of the past and act of depression are really poor albums compared with the others. In chasing safety is generic because it was the outline that everyone else followed- I remember hearing that album sooo many years ago and there was just nothing like it before. And now they are like a mix of a bit of screamo and electronic and Isis and it is just insane.
