Hitler tried to use the church for his rise to power but after 1933 the Nazis started to systematically crush the church. Many believers ended in concentration camps and brave priests like Bonhoeffer were executed. This was not about religion unlike the terror carried out by Jihadists.

Most victims of islamic violence are still other muslims! Shias kill Sunnis and vice versa. Religion of peace? Try barbarism!

Although they are separate in some respects Shintoism has no cannon and qualifies more as philosophy than a religion with most people in Japan practicing both Buddhism and Shintoism at the same time. True, he saw the religion in Sovjet as something in the way of the building of his cult of personality, but his deeds were not motivated by atheism. D'Souza is 100% right here! Has D'Souza most recently converted to Christianity? He has an excellent book out on "Life After Death-The Evidence" where he advocates the Christian view of the afterlife. But way back in 07 or before, he was debating Robert Spencer and taking a stand for islam. It certainly seems as if he has seen the light SINCE then. Dinesh is a good guy and he's very much a Christian inspiration to many people!
