  • Thanks a lot for this! I thought a signature would be much easier to figure out! It is easy to do but it took this video for me to find out!

  • I am an IT professional and spent 2 hours researching this before I found your video. This was the only solution that worked. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!

  • Fuck!!! Awesome!!! It worked!!!!

  • This works great! Only problem when I go to compose a new e-mail, my cursor selects the image and gives it that 3d look. I can change the format to flat the reposition my cursor, but why does it do this?

  • Hey Rich, I haven't even TRIED this yet, but I found your instructions so easy to follow that I'm sure I can make a slight adjustment to change my signature to include an image with a hyperlink! Thank you so much!

  • There is not an edit option anywhere on when I right click on file.

  • This has been so helpful. Thank you very much as I would have never have got there on my own !! Great video

  • @tbonebubo2

I'm where you are now - still getting a blank sqaure with a red cross in it. Did you manage to solve this problem? If so, please let me know how! Thanks!

  • Love that really works w I can do something fancy

  • Works great apart from the fact that my version of Windows 7 does not have image/inline. There are 2 image options in the ribbon but not a text button, they are 'Photo Album' & 'Single Photo', took a while to work out the differences. Eventually got there. I do not know why there are differences, I am on a win 7, 64bit system.

  • Nice One!

  • Thanks for the help! This really helped me! I love your videos!!

  • Great tutorial - thanks so much - slightly different for Live Mail 2011. But essentially I got the drift.

    great Job!!

  • thanks! i was pulling my hair out trying to work out how to do this!

  • top stuff!!! thanks a a lot.

  • Seriously, thanks so much for this video...it stopped me tearing my hair out after wasting many frustrating hours trying to attach a logo to my signature. I also had the same problem as Ang1247, so I'm grateful for your quick response. Very professional! x

  • Thanks so much! Just what I needed!

  • Many many thanx

  • To Ang1247, just go to start, all programs, accessories, click on notepad. Once notepad is open , go to file, open, my documents, double click on the signature folder. It will open and appear empty. click on the box "Text Documents (*.txt)" and select all files.then double click on the photo file and now continue to follow the instructions from pcmedianet. don't forget to save, not save as.

  • How do I edit this with notepad? When I right click on my image doc it does not show notepad so I cannot see the HTML info.

  • Brilliant .... this was just what I needed! Thx.

  • Great work! Thanks from Serbia!

  • Just wanted to inform you that I figured out how to attach a site to the sig, via the link icon when your setting it up... Your video has helped me to figure this out.... Thanks again...

  • Thanks again Rich... One question... Can you also link a photo like here to a site? I would like to link an animal rescue site with a photo sig, so when you clicked on it in the email, it took you to that particular site...

  • Thanks a mil Rich, I've been knocking myself out with this now for many months with Windows 7.... Thanks again, finally a tutorial we can all understand...

  • Thank you very much :) I has been annoying me for about 6 months now.

    I´m really really grateful :)

  • Anybuddy wanna help an old man out here?

I'm getting no picture, (square & a red cross & the text I added) I've tried a million things but obviously not the right one!

  • @KipperSarnie I found my problem, it was the file path to the image. I typed it in manually rather than copy/paste!

The file path I was copying was incomplete.

  • holy crap! I LOVE YOU!!!! i have a major migraine from trying to figure this out on my own, with absolutely no luck. totally ridiculous that it's that complicated, but....

    a million thank yous!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxo

  • I Windows Live Mail 2011 and I do not think I have the File menu. How can I save the email in html? I only have the Save menu on tool bar and only allows me to save the message as a draft! Anyone knows the answer to this?

  • Fantastic.....took a couple of goes and not being HTML friendly i forgot to ensure i used underline in my image file.......html would not read the image until i changed the file name......THANK YOU!!

  • You rock! Just saved my Sunday afternoon! Super Like!

  • I Agree. Why cant microsoft website do stuff like that ?

  • Thank you ..why can't microsoft website do stuff like this - nice voice too!

  • That is so great! Thank you very much!

  • Hah !! U are the man!!!

  • good tutorial, thanks

  • I'd rather store the pictures I use in a signature on a site like Photobucket so I'm not attaching a file with every email I send.

  • why havent i been receiving youtube replies on live mail..

  • Do you have a Google account? If so, any YouTube notifications you get will be sent to your Gmail's inbox instead of the email address you used to set up your YouTube account with. I just set Gmail to forward all emails to my main email account since the only emails I receive with Gmail are YouTube notifcations.

  • but while in notepad what do u save it as? a html? did the picture file get saved or was it the html file u put in there?cause i did the pic source thing but what do i save it as cause u didnt show that part....like in notepad under save type there r 4 options so i click rich tex format, text doc,ms -dos format or unicode text doc... cause i was clicking the 2nd one so maybe ill try the rtf one

  • no pic in mine just a box with a X in it i followed what he did but ill keep trying

  • thats stupid.. the picture will only show on you pc..
