  • nice kick

  • Not all TKD teachers are the same, but I can remember my teacher not instructing use on defense. We'd learn the 8 block count but it wasn't practical. This kid will likely take kickboxing where he will learn to keep his guard up.

  • taekwondo is a style that perfects the art of kicking to the head. Keep your guard up

  • K-OOOOOO!!!!!

  • 0:12 like a boss B ]

  • best way to fight, arms at side, face presented. if your not allowed to block in this, why the hell would you do it. come to anyone muay thai class and dont defend your face

  • all u saying y they not keeping their arms up obviously never sparred b4 -.-''

  • Beautiful! but in my opinion MOST KO'S IN TKD ARE DUE TO THE HANDS DOWN PROBLEM.

  • its always the one who doesnt wanna shake hands at the start who loses. haha

  • whats with with the chest pads and head gear is this foxy boxing and martial arts

  • nice form and kick. I train in Kyokushin main, I am always told to keep my hands up, I am not trolling or preaching, just saying from my own view. I know arms are not longer than legs, I just get drilled to always keep my hands up and guard at all times, lol or I have to do push ups til I remember. Great kick tho. OSU!

  • He was telegraphing that kick all day, I called it before it came out lol. A beautiful jump back kick with great timing none the less :)

  • because as you can here, you shouldn't need it :P reach control bby, no arm is longer than a leg ;P

  • Damnnnnn

  • knock knock.who's there ? splatDafaukindaow.

  • i kick my sparring partner in the face just like that xD LOL

  • wtf

  • LOL

    LOL

  • Learn the guard

  • what you get for keeping your guard down.. try a kick like this agains a muay thai fighter.. u wont hit.. or it is less chance that you hit because he keeps his guard high..

so what did we learn ? yes.. always keep a high guard..

  • Joe rogan does it better

  • Perfect timing.

  • Fuk that was awesome.

  • "I'm 'onna gitcha!"

    "nope."

  • HE GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT!!!!!!!!!

  • When they kick are they kicking with the ball of the foot, the flat foot, or the heel? Anyone know?

  • @MercierBradleyMichae Looks like the ball of his foot

  • @MercierBradleyMichae If it's a side kick - the little toe side of the foot. An axe kick or spinning back kick/horse kick - the heel. Front kick - the ball of the foot. Snap kick - the top side of the foot.

  • @MrDeadsea000 the part of the foot for a side sick is called your foot sword front snap kick is the ball of the foot cause its front rising kick with is the insept of the foot which is the top part

  • @MercierBradleyMichae Depends on the kick. A simple front kick = ball. Roundhouse = instep or shin, side kick (turning, spinning, jumping) like the this knock out kick = blade of the foot. That is how the correct technique is done. This kick how ever the bottom of the foot was used.

  • @MercierBradleyMichae well he done a reverse turning kick there so its the heel you kick with

  • Shawn Michaels wins Fatalyti.

  • For real why dont these people keep their hands up

  • @aargon55 It's wtf tkd! you can't punch so they don't have to worry getting hit in the face with hands. and since it's easier/faster to kick and counter with hands down, they leave their guard down. but ITF tkd you can punch and kick so you better put your hands up, or you'll get KOed.

  • @aargon55 All sport martial arts have rules that result in people doing dumb things. In TKD the head isn't protected. In fencing you let your opponent stab you first if you have right of way. In MMA you don't rip open your opponent's jugular with your teeth.

  • @PissedFechtmeister your head is protected, with wtf they wear helmets but itf and others they dont but there wear foot gear

  • @aargon55 Thats easy. The competition rules tells them they don´t have to. Taekwondo, especially WTF, is a mutilated art at best. TKD vs TKD, great, TKD vs any other martial art? I don´t think so, and I´m speaking from experience here, I´m a second degree blackbelt in WTF.

  • @aargon55 Because if you keep your hand down, it helps you turn your hip and torso. Then your kick will be stronger and faster

  • @aargon55 One reason, most fast kicks from taekwondo , are low kicks, therefore they are there to defend those low kicks - if not others can score lots of points. Doing a high kick , takes more time, with training they can block high kicks before they have fully developed the kick.

  • @aargon55 because in taekwondo they are based mostly on kicks. and in tournaments you usually get points for kicks not punches

  • @aayyyyrrreenn punches are illegal in WTF taekwondo

  • @aayyyyrrreenn Regardless it will still help if they keep their hands up

  • @aargon55 it's WTF taekwondo, they don't use hands

  • @Hem3fiction lol not even for protection...

  • @JohnnyxCash not 100% sure cos I do ITF taekwondo, but i know for sure they cant strike with their hands

  • @aargon55 - You must understand that it's basically a dual with the agreement that your legs are your weapon. In REAL LIFE...ofcourse, you'll use your hands, but that's not what tournament TKD is about.

  • @aargon55 Because keeping your hands down looks cooler, stupid ppl lol

  • @CreatedOnly4U keep ur hands up open up ur torso defense, headkicks should be dodged, not blocked. Trust me theres no way he couldve blocked that kick.

  • @aargon55 I do Taekwondo WTF for now 15 years, and I can assure you that those kinds of kick can't be stop by your hands. This is called ''bartochagi'' and it is probably one of the most powerful kick in taekwondo... Believe me, you can't stop this kick with your hands...

  • @mrlamda1 I agree :D, it looks simple but when one of my friend tried this kick with me it was pretty heavy, and he was doing ITF taekwondo, and his kicks no mater which almost all of them were unstoppable with hands

  • dude wtf?? I could immediately tell rite from the beginning that he was setting a trap to do a spinning kick, yet the idiot fell right into it. Was he a newly black belt or what?

  • @Draconic i agree with that, its pretty obvious, this video prove that looks like the color blue is only a beginner.

  • WTF blue don't do a tiny kick then just land forward!

For the reasons the guy saw it and kicks you in the face!

    Good back kick

  • Pero como!!!! Hong esta mostrando descaradamente que va a girar y Chong aun así, va y lo ataca de esa forma, por Dios!!!!!!!

  • even if he had his hands up, he would still get kicked in the face

  • It's SOOOOOO telegraphed.. Red's stance telegraphs the shit out of not this specific kick, but which leg he's going to use.. Note how the front leg is planted with all weight there. If red was observant, dead give away, easy block.

@Rovell003083: No need to keep hands up, this or something very like it should have been seen coming and dodged. Keeping hands that high up is for a fight involving fists only, no kicks or grappling or knees/elbows. And that excludes a vast majority of martial arts.

  • Well that kids is why you keep your hands up.. lol

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • wtf where was his guard?

  • A friend tried that on me. Only with more miss.

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOL I wanna try that sometime C:

  • hahahaha come on neil!!

  • @Bboyfilix The point you make with all that armor, actually brings to light true power of that TKD technique. He still knocked the guy out hard and fast with one kick with all that padding on.

  • its not brutal at all..they wear a freakin armor...wtf tkd sucks imho...

  • almost broke his neck

  • perfect jump back kick

  • i can do that! but i think its not a brutal k.o i seen a lot better that that :/

  • Awesome kick.

  • Never had his hands up!

  • Lol I took that kick without guard and didnt go down xD

but it broke of a tooth though...

stings without guard I can tell xDDDD

  • It is a jump turning side-kick. Some people call it jump turning back, some people call it jump turning side. It is both the same technique.

  • That's why you keep you hands up, fool. Sport TKD looks stupid as hell sometimes. It's like foot tag and makes you weak at real fighting.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot have to agree with you. I'm a TKD practitioner myself, but I often think the same thing

  • @TheTerrorUforgot If you take TKD Classes. Your Teacher is probably teaching the Olympic Style which is the weakest style of Taekwondo. Kinda like what's in this Video.

Olympic TKD has strong kicks. But bad Defense.

    Traditional TKD has everything.

  • @ymk19 The weakest style of TKD is ATA.

My teacher only taught us sparring for a competition, and he competed when they actually had more rules, before they prostituted it for the Olympics.

Since I was doing WTF taekwondo, I quit once I hit black belt and started kickboxing. Taekwondo had really weak hands and restricted itself to kicking with the foot. I still like my old school and visit when I'm in town, but it isn't what's best for me anymore.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot I understand what you mean. Well i think you made the right choice. But if you still want to do TKD, just try to find a TKD school that teaches Traditional Style.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot "The ultimate aim of martial arts is not having to use them"... Martial arts should be used for finding peace within yourself (both your mind and body) and sharing it with others. In the long run there is no honor or pride in fighting, so saying that it makes you "weak at real fighting" is not suitable for any kind of martial arts.

  • @A1rE Ultimately, if you HAVE to fight, and you have bad habits from sport TKD, you're going to lose badly. Peacemaking and developing good morals is great, but if you aren't training to defend yourself, you might as well not be practicing martial arts at all. That is what they're for.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot well in principle one will never get into an inevitable life or death hand-to-hand battle in today's society. It is pretty much up to oneself if u want to engage in a fight or not. But even if u are forced to defend urself, TKD will give u great surprise value, basically no one who attacks someone on the street could see it coming.

  • @A1rE If anyone really believed what you are saying, then nobody should ever take martial arts, and they're only good for fitness, character building, and movies today. That simply isn't true. People get mugged, killed, and raped every single day. I'm sorry but hands at the waist, chin in the air, and flashy head kicks is not the most efficient way to fight or protect yourself.

That's why I quit TKD once I hit my black belt and started kickboxing. It just works better.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot if its self protection one wants then judo, aikido, jujitsu and krav maga are the most efficient options. if u start hitting back at an attacker u will only build up rage, adrenaline and testosterone in the assaulter, and this can easily have devastating consequences. Martial arts used to be about developing as an individual both physically and mentally, being able to see the world in a peaceful manner and learning to be humble and showing compassion

  • @A1rE Martial arts are about being able to protect yourself from an attack, first and foremost. If they don't do that, they need changed or eliminated. Developing your personality is important and every school should do it, but if it is taekwondo like this, then you should just send your kids there for character building daycare, not to protect themselves from a bully.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot well thats just the thing, sports TKD is not about beating up another person, it is about exploring ur own potential, finding the true inner self (which sadly is hardly ever taken into notice), building up and reaching ur goals. This counts more or less all forms of MA. if one practices martial arts because he/she wants to be able to beat up another human being, then i would highly suggest trying to reconfigure ones priorities in life

  • @A1rE So when I say "protect yourself" you see that as "beat up?"

My TKD school stuck to real self-defense techniques to keep people from being bullied, mugged, raped, or killed. I hardly think we have our priorities out of order.

We also had sportive TKD, board breaks, form competition, and all that. We had the five tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and an Indomitable Spirit.

We never let the sport water down the self-preservation, though. That's what matters.

  • @TheTerrorUforgot okay, there u have the five tenets and the mentality that martial arts focuses on. Now would u like to elaborate the meaning behind the comment "It's like foot tag and makes you weak at real fighting."? (im having a hard time understanding what "real fighting" has to do with martial arts, it just sounds wrong to me)

  • @A1rE Ok sure.. You have to hit the head or body and you get points for doing it. The way people approach sport taekwondo is to completely ignore any semblance of actual fighting (the TKD habits you need to protect yourself) and instead hop around out of kicking distance, hands at waist, then jump in and kick the with the instep (horrible striking surface) then clinch.

  • @A1rE Competition should be a safe environment to develop skills against other martial artists that can help in a real fight. If you just do tournament style like these two you have almost no skills to protect yourself. Kyoukushin karate has a format that is very good for protecting yourself, as does Judo, BJJ, and amateur boxing and kickboxing.

This is just a game that has nothing to do with TKD, which is supposed to be a fighting system.

  • 0:13 nigga got knocked the fuck out.

  • OMG

  • Nice. Bet that guy learned to have his guard up.

  • 1-hit KO!

    It's super effective!

    Enemy Justin Beiber fainted!

Commando Norris earned over 9000 experience points!

  • Failtality! Flawless Victory! Your rep is mine! :P

  • kind of a small ring, isn´t it?

  • what an aweful bow. such disrespect.

  • Beautiful.

  • spinning back kick always hurts

  • @mcfoolskully That was not a "spinning" back kick. It was just a hook kick reversal.

  • @cparty232 no that was just a straight jumping back kick

  • @cparty232 your an idiot. im a blackbelt and have been with wtf tkd for over a dozen years. that is a jumping-spinning-backkick.

  • @mcfoolskully I thought spin was 360 and turn is 180 so wouldn't it be jump turn?

  • @TheTerrorUforgot i have never even heard the term turn kick used. If you are spinning, we refer to it as spinning. All he did was a normal spinning back kick, except he jumped for more height, thus the jumping spinning back kick

  • @mcfoolskully I guess it was just my school that tried to make a distinct for a kick where you actually spin with a kick, ending up with the same footing, and one where you just turn and throw, ending up with the opposite stance..

This dude does indeed end up in the same stance, but not because of the properties of the kick

  • tuit tit tchagui

  • Shook his hand then knocked him out! aha sportsmanship

  • FAWCON KICK

  • Awesome Kick!!!

  • And blue represented America

    What ashame

  • @Johnnycash1033 Really i can say most likly they both do, my times in compertition EVERYONES uniform was different depends on how you wanted it to be.

  • @Johnnycash1033 why dont you go up agianst me, its too bad your country stand up for themselves

  • @paladindarknite It's funny how America acts superior when Asians are much more advanced and better.America only beats us in Military I would believe?

  • @TheHomestuck just cause there asians doesnt make them better :L i've seen millions of blacks and whites beating Asians millions of times

  • @Johnnycash1033 lies!

  • 7 people got kicked in the head by a tkd fighter that they under estimated .

  • TaeKwonDo looks good in a sparring/tournament situation, but if it is the only thing studied, it becomes almost useless in the streets.

    FACT!

  • @ilovebitchcakes i am black belt in taekwondo and i also use judo. and it's very good in street fight!

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 talk shit somwhere else, get you in close and bite, you would fold like the rest.

  • @churd243 talk shit? fuck you kid get a life

  • @R3dTigerM40A3 i aint no fukin kid you lil cunt. you the one that needs to get a life ya fukin army wanabe. bye bye fag.

  • @mcfoolskully listin hear you lil ho....im a black belt in origami and il fuckin fold you up like a bit of paper.

  • @ilovebitchcakes

So basically what you are saying is something akin to if I only train for swimming I might not be so good in a triathlon? Well, if I am against people who have trained in nothing (like 99% of people you meet on the street) I would probably have a big chance to win. TKD is a sport and you train within the rules. I would not train in skeet shooting if I was to enter a triathlon, but I might if I wanted to survive in the wilderness. FACT!

  • Thats what you get for not having your guard up lol

  • Crazy

  • he knocked his neck out of place

  • i think that guy is dead

  • this must felt so easy for him... its like there was a sign blinkin "press button 1"

  • CRISP!!!!!!!!

  • Flawless Victory ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • jajaja: Taekwondo (WTF) = What Ta Faq!!!

  • I want to fight that guy, using Muay Thai or Muay Boran

  • eso fue de suerte,

  • @david39539 No, this is classical in TKD. We learn and practice this kind of counter attack early.

  • KNOCKDAFUCKOUT!

  • There's a reason wy you must keep your hands up at a llllllllllll times. Some martial arts have a bad habit of letting their defense drop when they're kicking.

  • @TheSubwaysurfer In taekwondo it's actually bad to keep your hands up, because then your body will be open to kicks and you will give away a lot of points to your opponent. It's all about scoring as many points as possible, not so much about KO's, and I can assure you, these KO's are unblockable anyways ;)

  • Nice kick! A clean hit of Jumping-turning side ;] I'm a TKD player and that's my favorite kick, but I usually hit at the stomach. Anyways, nice vid! :D

  • typical for this style and tournament! no one puts their hands up!!! ridiculous!!

  • always keep ur arms up and protect ur face.

  • @VINTONGFX No. Are you any good in taekwondo? Try to block a fucking kick to your head, you'll get destroyed. Its easier to block kicks to the body and evade head kicks. For instance, in MMA a lot of knock out, with kicks, happens when a smart ass tries to block a head kick. It just doesn't happen. Unless the kick is really weak.

  • @PyozGaming better than nothing. I did tkd for 3 years. my sabumnim never stress much on blocking, when muay thai came in my life and used some of the techniques like blocking, I was able to block similar kicks like these. also most tkd people who only practice tkd are not very well conditioned to take a beating, especially on the face.

  • @VINTONGFX I took plenty of kicks to the face I still look good ;P. But srlsy Iv been doing TKD for over 10 years. The 3 olympic spot for canada are ppl from my club that I train with. And this is a taekwondo fight anyway not a real street fight!!! I would put my hands up if it was be the case!

  • @PyozGaming lol I didn't have anything that fancy. I went to school in the Philippines. a korean guy was teaching us kids almost for free since most of my classmates didn't have money and worked doing odd jobs in day and going to school at night. Philippines has been a 3rd world country for 40 years now and no improvement. My muay thai teacher wasn't even making alot of money since 60% of the kids he taught were poor. I bet if someone sponsored those kids to fight the olympics

  • Hahaha read like a fuckin' book.

  • tkd is great

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM HEADSHOT

  • tae kwon do faggest martial art EVER

  • very nice

  • Little boy...I know you are NOT comin at me with that weak ass push kick...

  • KNOCK OUT!

  • @kevinpenaguy ... i live my youngster life in many street fight ... its not just a fight .. its a chaotic brawl .. thats why i sez so .. you fuckface

  • perfect timing .. that's why using roundhouse kick to attack only works in movies

  • @wackyadhie Tell that to Cro Cop.

  • @wackyadhie dumbass. learn to fight before you make a comment like that.

  • kiss ma foot bitch. lmmmmaaaooo

  • if u pause it at 0:22 u can actually see blues broken teeth fly away in mid air..

  • @philcockram no you cant, and mostly because when they spar they have a mouth piece in.............

  • damn timing

  • did his neck break???

  • lol. "brutal".they get protective gear, try MMA!

  • That makes sense. But getting hit in the chest is still better than a head knock out. But I guess the rules determine the fight stance. Thanks

  • why is the tkd guard so low all the time? is it not allowed to guard higher? i would guard up just so that kind of kick wont hit me in the face. SORRY i dont understand tkd very much so im just asking

  • @rotarymenace If your guard's up all the time you get kicked in the chest. And if you hunch over you're not quick enough - tkd is about speed so it's good to be relaxed and ready to move. The blue guy should have ducked his head down though, as there was obviously going to be a counter.

  • FLAWLESS VICTORY!

  • @nelsontr great comment bra

  • DAMN
