I've used ayahuasca a couple times and it was definitely a trip, made me hear vivid music. Also made me feel like all the world was stacked against me. Afterward made me feel angry at the world. Wasn't a "positive" experience but definitely powerful, and the kind of experience that makes you feel like you have done wrong and need to change, almost like a punishment. Then it wears off and you're like wtf, fuck that, fuck you all. Seems overrated but still interesting. Salvia is more powerful.

I've read Dr.Strassman's book : DMT the spirit molecule and I've come to the conclusion that the pineal gland releases small amounts of naturally, physically produced DMT, which causes us all to dream. Morover, when people claim to have a NDE, it is their pineal gland releasing larger amounts of DMT. During his experiments with the volunteers, a lot of them claimed to enter "other dimensions" and dealt with "humanoids, entities, insectisoids,' which would seem really interested in us - humans.

The truth is that this "drug" opens you up to something which we do not understand. Just as when you open your front door, you might see nothing, a girl selling girl scout cookies, a person in costume (on Halloween night, for example), you really have NO idea about what you are perceiving. Truth be told, you cannot even tell what "truth" is when in an altered state. You are easily manipulated as this is NOT our normal state of being. There is a reason that the occultic realms are forbidden.

I don't understand why dmt is illegal, if it is in everyones brain, it contains thousands of plants, for example common reed. I think that humans really lowly evolved beings..

As long as your brain is still active, as it would be taking DMT, your experience will be influenced by your subconscious.

So, most of what you will see, experience, will be hallucinations from your own mind.
