I don't understand people now days sometimes. They say that all of today's kids as disrespectful, or mouth off. When that's not the case, for me, anyway. No, not all of us are brats. Do you mind not saying so? My friend's little brother was being rude and he was kicked out of the house for a half-our. That seemed to do the trick. There's a huge difference between spanking and child abuse. Some people like to walk a thin line with it, and that's wrong. However, there are times when I child needs to learn to stop for a minute and consider the consequences of his/her actions. A good spanking could reinforce that every action has a consequence. When a child is older, grounding him/her from certain activities is a great choice, and a bigger threat. But some smaller kids (like 6, 7, 8) need a physical reminder.
