i was listening to this song in slow mo and i started hitting the drums till i think i got it right and it turned out to be just like your cover in the tomtom part, but i do think its slightly different in some fragments.

the only problem i have with the verse is, the bass drum isnt syncopated--its straight 8th notes, thats why it sounds so quiet on the third beat of each measure (or first beat of every other measure, depending on how you're counting), but very veryimpressive none-the-less. the bridge is phenomenal.

i meant, the bass SHOULDNT be syncopated, but it is. listen to it with a like a car subwoofer--so either the bass is constantly going (straight 8ths), or theres more from the floor tom.
