dude.. i hate to tel you this but if you think you're going to be albe to buy ammo AFTER TSHTF your are setting yourself up for failure. once it all comes down, ammo is gonna be SCARCE
@prplflh71 did that vid along time ago i guess i said im going to walmart in there some where. yea i shop at walmart some times i would have to be an idiot not to shop at a place that is the closest has what i need and is the cheapest. there isnt any same in my game. i hope that your a kid and not over 18 because if you are you sound like a douche and i think you need to learn alittle street smarts
if you dont buy a gun because it doesnt have a manual safety you should reconsider buying a gun at all. a manual safetly prevents human error. if you are capable of this dont own a gun
@242tdryan if you dont think a manual safety in trained hands isnt safer then one without that just means you don't need a gun. i can handle a gun with out a manual safety fine but if its on my night stand someone breaks into my house and i grab for it when i cant see i want a safety or a double action trigger at least. i carry with one in the chamber at all times. not having a safety is for people who forget to disengage the safety under stress.
I find that those who feel it is necessary to sell their soul to purchase a glock, or sig, or even a beretta find it necessary to talk down every other sidearm in order to justify their need to purchase expensive tupperware type pistols. I now own two Taurus'(PT-99 and 66/.357 rev.), as well as several others, and have fired over 2000 rounds thru "Lucille", my PT-99 without any incident whatsoever. I find it reliable protection at a resonable price, and it is my daily carry weapon.
Do you have 4500 rounds through this gun as of the video? I was going to buy a stainless steel PT92 with the gold accents but I was afraid that the gold accents would wear off after frequent use. I went with the regular stainless steel instead.
The best 9mm is hands down the Sig Sauer P210 ..you might argue that the Browning High Power deserves a seat next to the P210. The modern day relatives to these two firearms would be the Sig P226 and the CZ 75B. The Beretta M9, because its such a great shooter and battle proven, would make the honor list. I am sure your Taurus is a fantastic weapon, the only problem is that it's a Taurus.
I have more than 2000 rounds through my PT99 and not a single FTF or FTE. It's astonishingly accurate (in skilled hands) and I like the way it feels in my hands. The frame mounted safety is the big selling point for me versus the Beretta. This is a well thought out gun.
@shane220222 ok im man enough to say that i was wrong for saying what i said i take it back and im sorry i wasnt trying to talk shit or be a troll i just think you chose a bad gun taurus is know for having bad guns and the worstest customer service but it is a great looking gun have fun and enjoy your gun and stay safe :)
@MNTINJUGGALO its cool and in alot of my vids you will hear me bash taurus i have had many guns miss up from them and i doubt i will ever by another one. but i did months of research and talked to alot of owners i was going to get the beretta but didnt like what i heard and and position of the safety. money isnt a thing when it comes to guns i mean hell that gun was 550 dollars price of a glock. but the pt92 was made using the beretta machines and same workers. its the one gun taurus made right
@MNTINJUGGALO Again, when was the last time you actually checked things out in the real world? Bad guns and poor customer service...???
I currently own 2 Glocks, a Smith, and 2 Taurus, one is the 92 AR and one is a model 617 357 snubby. I like all of them for different reasons, and I would put the quality, accuracy and reliability of the Taurus guns against any of the others.
Don't believe the hype and get out and experience the world. It is rich and inviting.
@MNTINJUGGALO Cheapest gun on the market? When was the last time you priced guns, 1983? Ruger and Smith & Wesson all have 9's that are cheaper, both in price and quality than Taurus.
Times change. I remember when people thought Mossberg shotguns were junk and now they are the go to shotgun for LEO and military.
@MNTINJUGGALO Certainly not the cheapest. One of the high end taurus models. Originally a clone of the Beretta 92 series but modified on over the past 30 years and you now have areas where the TAURUS is BETTER than the beretta! For example, the safety is more natural, and on the frame instead of slide. I like this.. It holds 2 more rounds, AND it has rails.
The glocks can be cheaper than the 92 depending where you shop. I have a PT-145 myself that I love and about to buy a 92.
@MNTINJUGGALO He could of bought a Hi-Point. THAT is one of the cheapest guns. over $300 cheaper. And guess what. Hi-point has a kickass warrenty and they honor it, and it goes bang every time. I have a friend that has a Hi-point .45 shot over 5k rounds, hes even modified it he likes it so much. He carrys it every day. Too heavy for me but I would not hesitate to have one in the night stand.
@MNTINJUGGALO Cheapest on the market to stay away from would of been Freedom, Pheonix Arms, Cobra Enterprises, and Taurus TCP/738 that is prone to feed jams unless they have revised it, but hey its a brand new design for taurus, they will get it right or ditch it.
@ZZRgirl11 i have had my problems with ruger semi autos in the past but if the ruger sr9c is like the sr40c i hate the thumb safety its to small if i am going to have a safety on a gun i want it to be easy to use thats me tho
I have the same pistol...except Stainless w/ the gold accents and rosewood. Nothing plastic about this pistol...it runs flawless. And it's got bling ;-) Good video
I have a Beretta 92FS, which is the same gun but with a slide mounted safety instead of a frame mounted safety. I love it. Good choice. Solid gun, tried and true, will take any 9mm ammo. I would have actually bought the Taurus PT92 because it's cheaper than the Beretta, but you can't get them in Massachusetts. My research came up with the same guns, the Beretta 92 FS/Taurus PT 92, CZ 75b, and the Sig P226. Any would be a good choice, and I agree with yours.
@jpsnissan yea.. a vid like this i could have went into the many great 9mm choices and why i didn't pick each one. i dont script or edit my vids so off top my head put in as much info as i thought i needed i should have said more but i was trying to cut time
