TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK - 34613 - Digipack CD - Featuring Michael Kiske (EX Helloween/UNISONIC) and Graham Bonnet (Alcatrazz/MSG/Rainbow). Released soon on Battlegod Productions.
wow adrian smith playing with "bruce dickinson voice twin" imagine for a second, in iron maiden there is no blaze era, but there is a kiske era with maiden....
Michael Kiske never disappoints me his music is always unbeatable regardless of genre. Although i obviously prefer metal even if its not he brings to the table something no one else can.
i love Micheal Kiske and with Kai Hansen and Adrian Smith it sounds like a dream mix. But most of the songs on this album are fucking unlistenable . The calling is good too though. It's not lame just cause it isn't power metal, it's lame cause it's just fucking lame. Even his acoustic versions on his new album are better.
@UdemderHuebsch The song "The Calling" (from the same album) is an outstanding heavy metal tune, with the same line-up: watch?v=v4itd9WxcGw. Besides these two songs the rest of the album is more varied, containing rock, blues, grunge and pop-rock influences. Still the power ballads "Do I Remember A Life" and "Always" are very good songs! This is Michael Kiske's first solo album, it is not supposed to resemble Helloween.
This should have been made into a full-time group. Two of the greatest metal guitarists with one of the greatest vocalists and a great backing vocalist (Adrian Smith) to boot. So awesome.

@JaketheSnakeESP it still doesn't make him a forefather of power metal, they also influenced alot of of other bands besides power metal. Power metal was manely inflouenced by malmsteen by the way.
@mykolassss The whole topic concerning the origins of power metal is very subjective. Helloween are thought as the band that perfected the power metal sound and brought it to the masses. They were influenced by Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and speed metal. On the other hand you have Malmsteen and the American power metal scene

This song reminds me 'Don't run for cover' when Kiske was in Helloween. The same message, but no so raw!

@JaketheSnakeESP Uhm, Adrian Smith never anything to do with power metal.
mykolassss 1 year ago 3
@mykolassss Iron Maiden is the main influence of about 99% of power metal bands, so yeah, in a way he did.

@antere5 Look, the botom line is that Adrian Smith is not a forefather of power metal, he is a fore father of the whole heavy metal and that's it.

@mykolassss yes you're right on that
